Speaking of which, I finally saw New Moon Saturday. I did not like it as much as Twilight. I guess I was expecting it to be better, and it just wasn't that good. Edward looked like someone smeared sunblock on him, and Kristin Stewart needs some serious acting lessons. Also, while reading the books, I was such a huge Edward fan, but New Moon had me almost rooting for Jacob. I don't know...the books are just soooo much better than the movies.

Dot, my best friend says the same thing about Kristin...she thinks she's a horrible actor.

I also agree...the movie makes you fall in love with Jacob...he's more "human" if that makes sense. He seems to have more personality. With Edward, in the movie, you don't get a lot of personality.

Hopefully Eclipse and Breaking Dawn will be better for Edward's character. I just haven't fallen in love with any of it yet though....but I did like New Moon, the movie, better than the book...which says a lot...because usually the books are way better.

Oh yes! I'm loving being here at GMR. The only bad thing is that when I went to Casting today (to apply for FT), apparently I have to wait 2 more weeks before I can be added to the list. So now I'm getting nervous that all the spots for FT at GMR will be gone. I don't know what I'll do if that happens. :(

Speaking of work, how is your new job going?

Aw...well good luck for you!


My job is going well. I work 2 days a week there and it's always interesting. Never know what you're going to walk into....so some days I'm done early, some I'm done late.

Hi Nibblies! Thanks for the well wishes about our vacation. I am so relieved we were able to still get a room at the Hard Rock Hotel.

I'm glad you are liking the new job as well. :) Do you and WHF have any vacation plans this year? I can't remember. :eek:

I thought about other locations, in the event I can't get GMR. However, I don't really want to leave the Studios. So I only put down Icon attractions (besides GMR it's also Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Muppets, and American Idol), and Sunset Attractions (Tower, RnRC, and Fantasmic).

I also put in to extend the CP, in case FT isn't available for either location. I'm hoping that could be a possibility.

Oooh.. ToT sounds like it could be fun!

No Jungle Cruise?? That's pretty close to GMR.

I wouldn't mind JC. The only problem is, there was no way to pick JUST Jungle Cruise (you had to write down Adventureland/Liberty Square). So you could be assigned any of the attractions there. And I don't really want to work some of them.

Um...we don't have a trip per se planned.

I may be going in Oct. for the podcast for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon. Actually, there's a good chance I will be...and he may come down for a few days...along with a friend of mine who, in my estimation, has "won" a timeshare trip....which I can't get super excited about. But it would mean I'm going to see Harry Potter.

Other than that, we're going to Key West in Dec. this year instead.
