I would feel SO guilty for not finishing my Magic Trip reports... I still haven't finished the one from September! So I didn't want to tackle the one from Jan, let alone this one. You all are the important people anyways. :kiss:

It WOULD NOT COME OFF!! I had to hold her down and brush it out with a tiny comb like she had head lice! UGH. It was so pretty at first, but that stuff neeeeeeds to be washed out ASAP.
I felt so bad for her.."Mommy! It hurts! Please, no brushing!" :brick:

Just got done fighting my son off with a plastic baseball bat.....fun times...
We have a handyman here doing some light remodeling of our family room - he's removing a closet/bookcase area and replacing the drywall. Plus he'll remove our baseboards for us before they come and do the floor in a couple of weeks.

So how are your folks today Jen?
I think they are more jittery today than yesterday. Yesterday they were just in shock over the whole thing. Now they're just finding ways to keep busy - Dad's doing yard work, Mom's making cookies, I guess. :shrug: All we've found out that's new is that there were two other people, not just one, but the girl isn't spilling the names. Oh, and that she got busted a couple of weeks ago for having drugs in her car. So they weren't going to keep her in jail for that, and now she's added thief to her resume. Nice.

That's good that you're parents are doing well. It can be pretty scary to be robbed in their own home. I would highly suggest that they start a neighborhood watch so this doesn't happen to anyone else, since they're not the only victims to have this done.

They live in the country, and the way they are situated, they can't see their neighbors....so if something like this happens, they call the neighbors up and tell them to be on alert...which is what they did. They do all look out for one another out there. So I guess there already is kind of a watch system in place..its just the location of the house can make it challenging - they're surrounded by lots of trees and hills.
