Hello everyone! My stomach has been bothering me all day. Probably the Italian food I had yesterday. I didn't want to come into work today, but unfortunately, I need the money. :(

I would appreciate any prayers you could send my family today. My parents were robbed about 6 a.m. this morning. 2 girls, approximately between the ages of 15-23 were involved. One suspect is in custody, one is still at large. No weapons were involved, but the suspect that was caught slapped my dad. :fork::fork::fork::fork::fork: A neighbor up the road was robbed as well; they cut the phone lines before coming to the door: they knew what they were doing, this was not their first time. My mother's credit cards/checkbook were recovered with the suspect, but they spent the morning closing their bank account and cancelling all their cards.

OMG Jenny, I am sooo sorry, I really hate to hear about these kind of things, I mean it just is really sad what our world is coming to...:(

And my parents are elderly - that is the MOST upsetting thing to me. They're in their 70s - do NOT need to go thru this. Well, no one does. But slapping my dad. They are sooo lucky I didn't see that. They would have no hands if I did. :mad:

O sweetie, I know exactly how you feel she's lucky you can keep your emotions in check!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe that! How are you parents doing? Emotionally? I can't imagine what that must have been like!
SO thankful they are okay! But will still pray for them. They must be shook up, no doubt.

I think if I had seen her sitting in the back of the sheriff's car smirking, as my SIL did, I would definitely said or done something I would later regret.

They're pretty shaken. We got the phone lines repaired, and a locksmith down to replace all their locks. These 'people' took off on foot, and there's bear in the woods....:lookaroun.....one can hope, right?
