Such a simple little thing, but makes a big difference. Intentionally or not, it also echoes the angular design of the main entrance plaza...

And now what you've all been waiting for: the underside of hand-railings! I'm no lighting expert, but that doesn't look like standard florescent to me...

I really hate those new hot blue and green colors they sprayed all over the place and I don't like the new "iNNovEntions" logo either. A step in the wrong direction.

If your going to call it Innoventions then the all caps INNOVENTIONS looked classier than the new one that tries to be "hip for the kids". The new colors look garish it looks like Epcot's main plaza is turning into a giant candy store. Too tacky.

If they want to change Epcot's colors from the origianl brown salmon color than at least go with silver, white, and/or navy blue. Not this garbage.

Your photo update are really awesome!!! Those things (tarps) are really annoying. They ruin the whole vibe that area is supposed to create. Burn em down!

I thought this was a good example of the difference in style between EPCOT Center and Epcot.

Also, a correction, I'd mistakenly said that the new cups were plastic, but they are really metal instead.

As Raven mentioned a couple of days ago, the new signs are up in Innoventions East...

I know this area very well (5-days a week). Especially that outlet on the wall behind the sign. Had you'd been there about 9 hours earlier I wouldn't been in your picture.

I'd say super bright LED's. (Love the self-portrait btw :))

Sum of all Thrills is due to open October 14th.

Is Disney serious about restoring the classiness and majesty of the Epcot Center asthethics or is this just a line of retro merchandise to cash in on nostalgia? Considering that the "25th." was like 2 years ago already im hoping for the former but you just can't be sure with the modern Walt Disney company.
