I'm really hoping they get rid of that stage on the back of the fountain. I'd love to get that view of SE back.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was next, or at least part of it. They're not just going to let those older green railings up on the stage just sit there clashing with the new ones. And there's certainly been rumors.

I just wanted to throw something out there that I haven't really seen anyone bring up yet. I think this all bodes well for Dan Cockerell as VP of EPCOT. These various projects are definitely something that can be seen as completely unnecessary by certain types of leadership, specifically those that focus more on the bottom line and don't care about applying true Disney business principles. Dan may not have initiated all of this work, but he's certainly had enough time to say, 'it's more important to not spend this money and make our books look better, we don't need these things, the status quo is good enough' and axe the projects. I fully realize that it's possible this could all be pushed through from above his position, but that seems unlikely to me. So props to you Dan, keep up the great work, and please show us some Dreamfinder soon!

I've met Dan a few times and I'm impressed by him as a leader. He takes the time to listen to everyone which is important in this day and age.

I personally would like to see it stay orange. Besides being my favorite color, it looks good here, as opposed to the pink that was on the other side, which I always thought was a little odd.

Me too! I need that to stay orange. Not sure why, that's just how the camera center looks in my memories and I really like it that way, so it needs to stay that way.:p

A MR.EPCOT Photo update!! W00t!

Does this dirigible seem vaguely familiar to anyone else?

Yes.:(

How perfect are those railings? : They reflect the terraced fountain style perfectly.

That is what we spend so much time here advocating for, mouse people.

More of that.

And it will pay off too.
Agreed in full, jt. Show tops all.

Lovin' it...

Love it.

EE ought to be quite please.

Really nice addition. Bravo.
Indeed I am...

And now what you've all been waiting for: the underside of hand-railings! I'm no lighting expert, but that doesn't look like standard florescent to me...

Those look LED-ish...I have hope!
I thought this was a good example of the difference in style between EPCOT Center and Epcot.

Also, a correction, I'd mistakenly said that the new cups were plastic, but they are really metal instead.
One is flashy, generic, cartoonish....One is sleek, noble and unique. Sheesh.

A new paint job above Gateway Gifts!

WOAH! :sohappy: They painted part of a SSE LEG!? Can they do more? That's really good news. I like the shade of blue, but yeah, stripes would be better.

NOT complaining, though....I would like to see this on the WHOLE leg....

Agreed on Mr. Cockrell. Love that work is finally being done, love that it's for a better and more pleasing visual EPCOT, and that it's fixing a big problem.

Just finish SSE, too. :D

Love it.

Just wanted to comment on the pics added since I left. Wow!!!!

The blue paint job is stunning. Perfect. Perfect color, perfect application. I did not know paint could look that good. Honestly.

LEDS!!!!! OK, Epcot just took the lead in the great LED contest with the MK. I understand the railing design even better now. :)

Something is definitely happening here and it is great. Can't wait for the rest of this upgrade.

Mr.EPCOT, thanks again for the picture updates! All these new modifications and additions are bright, futuristic, and visually appealing features that send Epcot in the right direction.

Just so there is no confusion, I was only talking about the photoshopped green building.

The real stuff looks GREAT! :sohappy:

IMO the Innobuildings should be painted a cream-color with some small blue and green accents...I also think the picture I did was a bit EXTREME

Now one has to wonder...will the new SSE legs creep their way over to the leave a legacy side of SSE....will the icky plantz in front of SSE get chopped down and replaced with Palm Trees...will Kanye West interrupt EPCOT's 50th anniversary....stay tuned
