Oh my god, no! She was amazing! My 2nd choice after Kelly. *sigh* The funny thing is, most of if not all these kids will get record deals anyways... lol

I still do not think the audience really has total control of the outcome....I think RJ is stsaying because they want to balance males and females on the show...I am sure RJ and Nikki are next......I really would like Kelly to win.
Now, this really bothers me. When the host were mumbling about Christina not being there they said something in the way of her having stress problems...I am under the impression the results are known ahead fo time of it leaked. The way I see it, she did great, got all awesome revues especially from Simon-(he once said he had a crush, but found out she had a fiance) Well, I bet she was really confident, found out and could not manage the impact of being voted off.
Its too bad Nikki or RJ are still there, I really do not see them as an Idol, nor Justin....just like Simon said- Boy Band Wannabee

I don't think they knew ahead of time. She has been in the bottom 3 before, and last week she looked like she was going to scream when they made her wait to see if she would be there again (she wasn't).
The audience has voted against the judjes before- that's how Jim (I think that was his name) and AJ got on.
I also just read that RJ had been under medical care for stress earlier on. Nothing big, nothing serious, everything fine. But these are kids that have never really been in the spotlight before, and all of a sudden, BOOM, that is a lot to handle!
It should have been R.J. He FORGOT THE WORDS TO HIS SONG!!!! Last night was really un-fair.

Well, it just does not make sense. RJ always looks like he's nervous and he admits it(he forgets his lines and shakes and stutters). Christina always kept her calm. Now I am in no way defending her, b/c she was not my favorite. Something is very ishy about this, just like the time Simon was MIA for his own show. After watching the local news, and listening to Christina's own reaction......I really believe she knew...I could be wrong, but then again I think the voting is a game for the public......I dont believe we have total contol of the outcome.
But in any sense, it is a very entertaining show and sadly, if Simon was not there, I probably would not watch. He also said o th local news that it might be best for Christina to be voted off now and get it over with, b/c he said she would not be the American Idol. However, he said RJ and Nikki need to go.
You are right-- it absolutely does not make sense...until you consider the number of teenage girls calling in their votes. LOL Fievel and my husband must think alike, b/c they both have brought that up :lol: and that is how I believe Jim and AJ made it as far as they did, when there were a couple of others had a lot more talent and should have been in the final 10. I'm not just mimicking Simon here- I really believe it.
I do think some things on the show are exaggerated, like the bickering and the "bad-*ss Simon" routine. I hate the cheesy commercials for Ford and Coke that they sneak into the show. ESPECIALLY Ford. But, they are a major sponsor so I guess they can call the shots!
Anyway, back to RJ. Have you SEEN the throngs of girls holding their posters and screaming his name? :lol: He and Justin both!

Yes, the girls are crazy for these guys and I really do not think the Idol will be a boy...sorry!!! I love analyzing this show and it still bothers me why they wont come clean on the episode that Simon missed, I really wonder about that. Sad part is, if it were not for him, I probably would not be interested. And yes, you are right alot of stuff is far fetched especially what is in those Pepsi cupsthey are always drinikng from-ads ads ads, I am doubting it is soda!!!!
But I am hooked and I really respect business people like Simon...wonder if he would give me a loan?

she so rocked out last week! yay for kelly! the big band week is thus far my favorite week, since i love the music so much. and it pretty much propelled one person, Kelly, into the spotlight.
and what is it this week? please don't tell me it is 80's music.....yuck!
I agree! Big Band Night was my favorite by FAR.
I can't even guess what tonight will be, though I have heard a few people say 80s. I would like to see music from the stage
:sohappy: Not that anybody is going to get up there and sing Phantom, but there are a lot of selections out there that these kids would be able to do.
