am I the only one who is happy about the HCOE decorations coming down from the castle

I don't if it's just me but those decorations always kind of annoyed me. I also feel it's been a while since cinderella castle has just been cinderella castle. The castle is already still a very striking icon, I feel when you dress it up all the time it just looks so cluttered. I don't know I was just thinking about this ever since I heard the decorations were coming down. Also I hope they stay down for a few years so we could appreciate the castle by itself.

I think it was appropriate for the celebration. I am ready for it to come down and things to get back to normal.

i liked the swirls on the castle but i HATED the mess of characters. It was like disney was making another tree of like or something.

Liked it for the celebration, although I admit that I never took the time to stop and watch the mirror change, but now its time to bring em down.

Long as Disney doesnt pull another wand, Ill be happy.

urgh i HATED the pepto palace!

the only thing i liked about it was the t-shirt that had mickey on it eating a piece of the castle/cake

I liked them for the first couple of months but now they are becoming obnoxious. I'm happy they are coming down.

The mirror of various castles just didn't do much for me at all. I am not really ready to see all the decorations come down, but if they must, so be it. I think the castle will look a little plain after taking down all the adornments, and I particularly liked the various characters all around the turrets. Oh well. . .

It did make for a nice 50 year celebration, I think.

While the decorations are nice and were nice for the celebration, I am very glad to see them go. I liked taking pics of it or videoing it, just because it wasnt the norm, and every other vacation vid had the same ol same ol castle. But Im just thankful to get my old cinderalla castle back.

I liked the golden characters and the spinning thingies, was never crazy about the mirror, happy to see the mirror go. I will miss everything else.

I loathed the cake. I never got to see the golden attachments in person, but never really liked what I saw in photographs. It will be nice to see it back to it's original splendour.

I thought the decorations were beautiful for the celebration (although, the mirror WAS ugly), but now that it's over, I'm looking forward to a nice, clean, crisp, classic looking Cindy's Castle for quite a while.

BTW, was anyone else surprised by how real the golden curtains at the front of the castle looked? Last time I was there, I tried to touch it, but was surprised when I felt it was rock solid. :lol:
