am I the only one who is happy about the HCOE decorations coming down from the castle

I am glad to see the original castle rising again from the Happiest Celebration on Earth decorations. I enjoyed the decorations for a while, but then they got really "old." I believe they were up too long and the mirror was a little big. I wouldn't mind the golden characters staying though.

I hate to say it, but I liked the mirror more than the characters. They just made it too cluttered, except maybe Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tink. I am glad to see it return to normal, though. I don't mind the decorating, but I think it needs to always be temporary.

This is talking about the bling right. I never liked it. But now that it has been there for over a year it is go look different.

I thought that the decorations were wonderful for the celebration, and very classy overall. However, I am glad that the castle is in the process of returning to "normal." It gives WDI a blank slate to work with for the next celebration.

I'm looking forward to seeing the castle the way it was, especially after it gets repainted. The spots from certain areas getting sun-bleached more than others looked pretty bad yesterday, but I understand that'll be fixed it due time.

I'm not gonna lie though, I really liked how the castle looked with the gold on it, I thought it kinda gave it an even more magical feel with the sparkling and what-not.

haha - yea, about my taste in theme park decorations...I didn't like "2000" on SE, but I do like Epcot on it.

The castle decorations made the castle seem ornate. I just feel like the color it was painted always looked too white. Like primer.

I loved the gold touches and would have liked to have seen some of the trimmings kept. It added a sense of wealth and "class" to the old building.

Am I "happy" about their removal? No.
But I'm not "sad" either.

I've found it best to not get emotionally involved with buildings.

I'm kind of glad to see it go. I didn't mind the gold ribbons on the turrets, but the characters and the mirror were just too far over the top.
