All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I’ve witnessed something similar years ago when a passenger I was sitting next to jumped out of the tram to relieve himself. I noticed something was awry midway though the tram tour when he began to fidget and constantly flatulate audibly. Surprisingly, the tram did not hold and continued on (most likely because it was near the end of the journey by Falls Lake). It is a lengthy ride, but the emergency cord is there for a reason!
In the video though, he jumped when they were on a moving platform so it's more dangerous. If it was outside then it's probably not that big of a deal.

I wonder if anyone has ever jumped out of Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom. I'm sure phones have fallen off the truck like what that idiot did here in the tram.

All I know, since I’m apparently a Universal guy now who was there again today, they play the beautiful E.T score everywhere and it’s such a tease because there is nowhere to experience an E.T attraction. Also they forgot to give my son and I 3D glasses so I pulled the red cord 5 minutes into the Studio Tour. They sent a pick up truck who met us (the entire tram) outside the old Hitchcock offices. But alas it was just another tease as he didn’t end up having any. So the King Kong part of the tour was very blurry. The dude kept his word though and ended up meeting us right after Jaws. He literally handed them to me as the tram was moving. So I had the glasses for Fast n Furious. I wish it would have been the other way around. Man, I forgot how terrible the Fast and Furious finale is. One plus however, they removed the dumb Fast n Furious interruptions they used to do throughout the entire tour.

Kung Fu Panda was great. I enjoyed it more than any of screen rides at the park. The projection mapping that surrounds the theatre is amazing. Disney needs to take a page from the Dreamworks theatre at USH and do something with the old Magic Eye theatre.

Does anyone know what they re doing to left of the street when you are driving up the big hill to get to USH off Lankershim? You know, where the old Fung Lum restaurant used to be? Looks like they cleared the whole side of that hill.

Theme park expansion??

I want to ride the tram but I don't have much personal time. It's a wonder this last minute Di$ney trip worked out.

I've been inspired to burn my E.T. ride scented candle

This reminds me, not necessarily directed at you, but are they not taking the tram to Back to Future filming location anymore? I think they skipped it last time when I rode 5 years ago too.
As far as I'm aware they're still doing it post-COVID (they definitely didn't stop doing it 5 years ago), I think the city streets is just one of Universal's most used parts of the backlot so it's far more likely to be skipped.

Ah, it’s a new backlot production facility for NBCU.
