Just a thought, maybe Pooh is marked for removal from Bayou Country simply because they want a WIDE path to the DL forward expansion area.

Just removing the Pooh Corner shops might not be sufficient.

But then what about the store? The store is more of an obstruction than the ride. I think just removing the left/ TBA half of the store and that little planter seating area in front of it would be enough IMO.

I mean they’d get rid of all of it. Stores and Pooh.

I’m there right now, they need to remove more than just one or the other, in my opinion.

Damn. Hoping to keep that area in tact as much as possible. Hope you’re wrong. They can go ahead and just complete the destruction of Critter Country with that move. (Tiana started it) All for a path to Zootopia land!

I mean they “could” do it without taking out anything, just this fence, but this would be an extreme bottleneck. Star Wars land has three entrances wider than that. In order for this to have lots of crowds in AND out you’re gonna need a lot more space.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking but that might be a little tight. That’s why I said the Tiana half of the store too.

Pokemon isn't a franchise that seems to have a varied and interesting world to step into. It would be like Disney creating a land themed to Turning Red. Sure, I enjoy the film, but the setting is just a modern Canadian city.
The whole idea is that the Pokemon world is our world, but with Pokemon. Games have taken place in lands as varied as Polynesia, Japan and Europe. The appeal is seeing the little monsters everywhere. Pokemon Snap is essentially the Jungle Cruise but with Pokemon instead of real animals. You can make the environment what ever you want, the grime of Ryne City, a grassland little village, litterally any environment you want.

Sounds like it would be a better ride with another land than trying to be it's own full land. They could just put a ride in the World of Nintendo area. Or replace The Mummy in USH with an omnimover shooter like Hide and Go Shriek. Or they could easily turn SLOP into Pokemon.

I would think the land of OZ would be a far better choice for a theme park land at Universal.

What’s SLOP?

Regarding the closure of Fast & Furious Supercharged, there is another advantage. It seems to be taking a longer than usual time frame to complete the likewise themed coaster, but I imagine the turnaround for the Studio Tour's replacement will be significantly shorter. That may give Universal a new experience this year.

A well-done dark ride at Universal Hollywood that is handicapped by restraints that assume you are not riding a gentle family ride and are instead, in fact, riding the most intense bucking bronco of a roller coaster ever built, thus unnecessarily causing some large guests to be unable to ride something not otherwise much different from a Fantasyland dark ride.

It boggles the mind. The seat back and how it transitions to bottom also seemingly was not made for a human adult body.

It’s got a wonderful queue and opening scene and then falls off tremendously. I get the space constraints, but the ride’s pacing might have been better if it started in reverse.

Also the low capacity for this (and Yoshi) is absolutely insane.

I think it looks great from video.
I agree. The ride vehicles are a well-known issue, but aside from that it is a solid modern darkride. My only nitpick is I'd like to see just 5-10 more seconds of play with the animal reflection concept. Either set it up in the beginning or give a little more time at the end to let the interaction grow. I always feel like people are just starting to realize the interactivity and understand the reflection concept as they are getting ready to unload.
