It's still worth watching but a Bourne stunt show would be epic. Isn't that the current rumored replacement?

It is the rumored replacement but you have to wonder if they would consider it as Harry Potter expansion (if possible) or just another dark ride.

I thought the Harry Potter expansion was going where the F&F 3D Tram movie is now complete with train connecting both lands.

That’s the rumor where Diagon alley would go. I’m just speculating on a possible Hogsmeade expansion based on Water Worlds location.

If Diagon Alley went in F&F Supercharged/Falls Lake they would need a spot for the train loading. I can see train loading at Take 5 next to Water World and driving down Tony Curtis Dr & Kirk Douglas Dr.

Universal used to be all shows. Now Water World is the only one left. It would be an easy change for Water World to be redressed for a different stunt show.

god i hope they dont put daigon alley in USH, Ive had enough HP related stuff at Universal Parks lol. But, if they do build a Daigon expansion....please god build a better/different ride then Gringotts, instead bring Hagrids over.

I think there is enough room for both down there. However, if they got rid of Water World, Hagrid's might fit there.

I think they'll want to keep at least one show in the park. As long as people keep going to see it I think it should be safe. I just wouldn't be surprised if one day it got swallowed by Potter or became a Monsters ride or something.

I would LOVE a classic Monsters dark ride @ USH. It could be amazing!
I'd also love to see the return of lifting the A-Team van.

I don’t see why they can’t fit Hagrid’s in. Make it a unique layout that suits the available spaces. It can zig zag in and out of anywhere, and the two coasts can have unique versions.

????

There has never, ever, ever been any inkling (to my knowledge) that Universal has even broached the subject of buying that golf course. For starters, that's a pretty historic course with some good golf pedigree, and it just received a very thorough top-to-bottom restoration.

And second, that club (Lakeside) is pretty exclusive club to many Hollywood and entertainment elites and many of them go there to talk shop or take in a quick round during a working day (since it's so close to Universal, WB and Disney). I can't think of a situation where the heavily Hollywood membership would be ok with giving that club up. It's too convenient and key to their lifestyle. Heck I would bet many of Universal's very own probably love that it's so close to them and think of it as a perk to working there and would never think to suggest taking it away.

Hey if they can level Hollywood Park anything can happen. Comcast has done a great job with the theme park division ever since they took over Universal. It’s just a shame they have barely any land to expand.

I’m all for retiring the Simpsons, but it’s such a shame that the show building’s position on the hill doesn’t give it a lot of wiggle room in terms of the sort of rides that could take its place. I hope they get creative, because that ride system’s time has come and gone.
Universal filed a patent for a unique stacked dark ride system that is ideal for tight spaces. I will post the link below. It could be used to create a unique Classic Monsters themed dark ride. Although if rumors come true and NBCU does end up buying WBD, I would love to see this ride system be used for a Scooby Doo dark ride. And while they are at it they can turn that portion of the upper lot into a Hanna Barbara themed land and reroute the tram station to the lower lot and expand this land to where the current tram loading station area is.
