I remember this place as a mexican and barbeque combo restaraunt that always seemed crowded.

It's a BBQ ribs and chicken type place now. It is still crowded with decent food.

Ninja was the first suspended coaster I rode ever. It's a really great ride, but it's a shame the model is dying out.

Back when I worked there it unfortunately was the era of highlighter yellow uniforms.

They changed halfway through my time there. I had to wear a chef coat so I didn't ever actually wear the yellow shirt

Yes, I have attended a few private events in the area. There is a small stage area in the back.

Do you mean the chicken place that used to be by log jammer? It is now a stage for events. If I recall, I believe it is part of the “Full Throttle“ themed area.

No. There is a chicken place in the shops area as you first enter the park next to the gates. There is also a ice cream shop and character shop.
