I am hearing associates (I think that's what they call their employees) at Knott's were getting calls yesterday and being asked if they would be willing to return to work by the 19th and that they would be in the park with guests.

Well, they won't be operating attractions.

As of 2 PM yesterday (July 10th), Sacramento had not released Guidelines, and Disney doesn't expect them to be released "anytime soon".

A new Outdoor dining area has opened for the Chicken Dinner Restaurant has opened on Grand Avenue. It is the North end, next to the Virginia's Gift Shop.

This area is for Full Service dining, and separate from the picnic tables offered for the To Go option.

Either that or Knott's will simply say they are going to do it anyway or they know something Disney doesn't....no clue, but I could see Knott's opening dining, shopping and having entertainment offerings. This would actually make sense and explain why they have been trying to do bluegrass music in the marketplace as a test. I mean it is very clear they have been using the marketplace as a test bed for reopening as it is.

Honestly, I would go with entertainment and museum type venues and food without rides because I do don't do a ton of the rides anyway. They probably make a fortune off of me......lol

It has two years since Mystery Lodge closed. It seems like the kind of show they could do without masked performers.

Mystery Lodge had a glass wall. They could have any music group in there and even add projection effects. I say they get those performers that played at DCA's Mad T-Party to put on a show in there.

They could potentially be planning a modified version of Summer Nights with bands and food cards. Probably open up Ghost Town for shops and crafts like they do for Christmas. It sounds great! Who needs rides.

In all honesty, I know many that would love this and it would bring money in for the park with lower overhead. Seriously, I would be ok with them resuming my season pass payments with this as long as I could still get my benefits and if they had some interesting snacks and merch, I would be spending money as well.
