Since Scary Farm is the major Halloween event, and there's no "All Things Queen Mary" thread, I'll drop this here.

That's sad but totally understand. I never really liked the Dark Harbor. It felt like a lot of walking with very few monsters. I wonder if the Griffith Park Haunted Hayride will disappear. At least Universal is actively building their mazes. I wish Warner Brothers would bring back their Halloween offerings.

That's a bummer. I went for my first time in 2018 & have been wanting to go back.
I enjoyed it way more than HHN shockingly & probably the most fun I've had at a haunted event.
They also did things in their mazes I've never seen before which was exciting.
I hope they can bounce back in 2021.

I went to Dark Harbour for the first time last year, and I thought it was fine? Not amazing but they used the ship real well (the ship mazes were way better than the ones on land). The weirdest thing for me was their focus on alcohol - there were so many bars, and the secret bars inside the mazes (we got into a few which was fun just for the experience) just made it seem like people were more drunk than you see at other major haunts.

I think we're going to see a lot of the mid-tier haunts not run this year, so you'll be stuck with either Universal/Knotts or one of the really small boutique house haunts. Mid-tiers will fall by the wayside (except for Coffin Creek. Never bet against Coffin Creek).

I wonder how many of the anti-retheme Splash Mtn. folks are the same ones insisting that Kingdom of the Dinosaurs was a welcome retheme of Knott’s Beary Tales, because (according to them) no one cared about a musical ride full of bears, foxes, rabbits, frogs, birds...

I always hoped that Garner Holt, in the same fashion that they invigorated the mine train, log ride and rapids, would have revitalized Kingdom of the Dinosaurs.

I wish Garner Holt would have tried to recreate and improve the original Rolly Crump attraction, Knott's Bear-y Tales.

Cedar Fair tried an outdoor version of the Dinosaurs without much success.

It was the classic attraction that should have been restored to a true dark ride, just like the original.

I never went on Berry Tales so I can't comment on if it was better or not. All I ever knew when I was little was Kingdom in that building and I loved it. Knott's just didn't take care of the ride. I personally would have loved them to bring back Kingdom instead of Berry Tales with updated Dino AA's and projection mapping effects but I will gladly take Berry Tales return over Voyage to the Iron Zzzzzzzzzzz.
