I’m new to Orange County; but just purchased a Knotts season pass! I got the top one for free parking and so I can visit other cedar fair parks. I’m excited!
If you're able to, make it out to Cedar Point in OH. I went for a couple of days, and really enjoyed myself. If you're into music like I am, pair it with a visit to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland.I’m new to Orange County; but just purchased a Knotts season pass! Seems like that would be a hard metric to track. Not with the money they bring in for Knott's. Once they stop bringing in money, then Knott's will stop renewing thier contract.
Not at all, if they are a source of people spending, there will be surges in spending between sets as well as before the first set and after the last set.Seems like that would be a hard metric to track.
Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair opens May 21st.

Unknown at this time.I'm hoping it is open for passholder previews as well.

I will give it 5 years then when no one rides it they will bring back a proper Kingdom of the Dinosaurs.
People can shoot dinos. problem solved.I doubt we'll see Knotts bring back KOTD in that space. They clearly want to do a shooter/screen ride with few practical effects/sets. And if they brought back KOTD in that style, I would rather it stay gone.
So was bear-y tales. now its back. no reason to assume Knott's most popular dark ride ever wont return if this fails.KotD is dead.
If Bear-y Tales fails, then a Brand New Idea will be placed in the space.
Knott's Berry Tales is what belongs in this location....it was there first.I will give it 5 years then when no one rides it they will bring back a proper Kingdom of the Dinosaurs.
It left because no one rode it. Dinosaurs left because knott's did not take care of the ride and it turned people off. not because the ride was not popular. Dinos will always be popular. look at the jurassic world ride and the velocicoaster.Knott's Berry Tales is what belongs in this location....it was there first.
Look what I found...I'm hoping it is open for passholder previews as well.
So we then have Iron Reef with a never ending barrage of video game dinos rather than steampunk fish. I'm good. That sounds a bit too much like the Jurassic Park Arcade shooter.People can shoot dinos. problem solved.
