I could also see Cedar Fair just saying enough is enough and just reopening at that point no matter what, that is one advantage of the workforce not being union, not saying they will or won't, but I could see them doing it and Orange County has made it clear they won't stop businesses from doing so as long as they try to keep things safe.

Yes, but their liability insurance may choose to not cover the expenses of any accident which occurs while the park is noncompliant with guidelines. They can also be fined by regulatory agencies and lose various licenses.

I know one day I went to the Halloween food event and most if not all managers were working the food booths. They simply didn't have enough to cover 7 days. Makes me wonder if they'll offer more days than what they currently have planned.

I am sure they are trying to get the staffing to do so, but I think they are also prepping for a reopening, possible sooner than later.

It's really quite impressive how Knott's has put these Festivals Events together for the past 9 months, and continues to do so.

I am particularly impressed with how they get a group of artisans and craftsmen to participate and display their wares, and still stay out of the line of fire from Sacramento bureaucrats who claim Festivals are still forbidden. Bravo Knott's!

Looks like they found other dining venues that offered Trio's performing live, at a safe, socially distance experience. So it got approved.

They have been trying for months to get the permission to allow it.

I love that! They just refused to take no for an answer from Sacramento. So they fought back and proposed solutions and made a case to the bureaucrats.

Of course, the fact a business has to do this sort of thing for government bureaucrats in order to help save their business is criminal.

But we'll leave that issue for this fall's recall election.

So this event was OK. Food was mediocre-average. Knotts visually did look better than I've ever seen it, but its still a park that would be nice if it wasn't overcrowded with Rollercoasters.

Live entertainment was refreshing but I'm not super into that kind of thing even pre-pandemic.

The event wasn't overpriced, but I wouldn't say I was blown away by any means.
