Crazy that FOF can't improve but as long as Starlight has a Full Cast like Party Parades, it'll be Great!! Let's hope TDO doesn’t take too long......

It would have been nice for MK to get entertainment improvements to go along with Starlight, but I guess FoF is not a priority.

When director Tara Anderson gets her way, we got trouble. This parade won’t be ready in time. Tara needs to move on.

Then you have Tom Vazanna trying to pull a fast one with Jollywood’s ice show. Amy Ardelean sits in the office like all is well with her park and the hard ticket planning.

I can’t.

I'm not sure who you're talking about or how you would know this but there's definitely extra pressure to get this parade done in time for Epics opening. And I would hope they if it is getting maybe internally delayed that it's because they want to get it right and make it as good as it can possibly be.

Some proper explanation would be nice though.

For what it's worth, the music is a song called "Summer Ever After" by Kopi Manis... really pretty song... here's the full thing... likely NOT what will be used for the parade (as is), but I could see it being sampled (like Baroque Hoedown or When Can I See You Again)

song is from Audio Network, Disney's production/stock music partner - I wouldn't read too far into that song being used in the video https://us.audionetwork.com/browse/m/album/summer-ever-after_4018

Hate saying this but if there is a potential delay I could see Starlight getting pushed to 2026. I doubt they would debut it during party season next year so if summer doesn’t happen then it likely will get pushed to 2026. Like you said hopefully that would give them more time to get it right.

Tom is the Creative Director within WDW Live Entertainment. Tara is a Show Director with WDW Live Entertainment.

Do they really think a night parade is the proper response to Epic?!?

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I feel like Disney runs a LOT more on nostalgia than Universal does. While a new night time parade won't necessarily get new guests to come to WDW, if it's well done and well received (and has a lot of nice throwbacks to prior night time parades), you'll play on the emotions of the "long time" guests of WDW and help remind them why they keep coming back. A new night time parade won't likely help them grow their market share, but it will help them to retain their market share and that may be good enough until they can get something else in.
