Proudly presenting...EPCOT Center's Future World 2.0;)

3201041585_580d2d420f.jpg

Starting out…

Entrance Plaza harks back to the early days of EPCOT Center. Plants, Fountains and Trees line the walkways leading up to Spaceship Earth. Spaceship Earth’s façade is of course the same except that it’s legs have been repainted the same blue as the entrance legs.

Moving into CommumiCore Court. The two CommuniCore buildings flank both sides and are painted in a silvery blue. At night neon outlines the building and changes color to the color of Spaceship Earth, who has had it’s lighting package upgraded. The plaza is filled with tranquil guardens, water features and the floor is embedded with fiber optics.

Off to the Universe of Energy! A new interactive adventure, this amazing ride through time gives guests the ability to capture tomorrow’s energy sources for themselves.

Next is the Wonders of Life. This attraction and show building is the same as the 1989 original but it has been visually and technology upgraded.

Next comes Horizons! Horizons is the synthesis of all topics discussed in Future World. It shows how life will be in the realistic and future. (It’s the original brought into the 21st Century.)

Next up is the Innoventions Pavilion. This pavilion houses several exhibits but most notably the Carosel of Progress!A true EPCOT Show, it showcases the spirit of Innovation that has brought man through the ages.

Now it’s onto to the wonderful World of Motion! (See JT’s plan! I used to have my own, but his is MUCH better)

Moving into the Court of Nations, this is the entrance into World Showcase and features the EPCOT Symbol and all of the Flags of the 15 countries of World Showcase.

Next is the The Land, (Same as now, just in a new location)

Then is Future Flight, a new Pavilion for Future World. Covering the terrain of airtravel and the weather, this Pavilion features If you had wings, Stormstruck (Now a full ride experience) and Soarin. Soarin is actually shared by The Land and Future Flight. If boarding from The Land you experience the traditional flight over California. Of you board from Future Flight, you experience a flight over the World Wonders.

Next is Journey into Imagination. The classic is reborn as Dreamfinder and Figment showcase the thought process and how Imagination is the basis for creating the future.

Then comes Horizons in Space. Featuring a training voyage to Mars and a Omnimover through the cosmos, this full pavilion is out of this world! (Yes, that was the usuall DISNEY flair :lookaroun: )

Now, is The Living Seas. This revamped classic features The Story of the Seas (Preshow) The Sea Cabs, And Seabase Alpha. Guests are then invited to Find Nemo on the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Also, you can chat with Crush the Turtle in Turtle Talk.

Finally is Spaceship Earth. This classic Omnimover takes us through our planet’s history of communications. Wending through immersive sets showcasing our past and how the future will come to be. In the Finale, guests are invited to see themselves in the future on not only their ride vehicle’s touchscreen but in the cities and settings of the future communicating and creating the future for the children of tomorrow.

That’s about all for now! I really didn’t want to work on World Showcase as the addition of countries would be a undertaking for EACH country.

Hope you enjoyed!:D

Love it, Evan! Great job and you can tell there's a lot of passion behind it. :D

Sign that thing and save it. It'll be worth a lot of money some day...

My goodness! And I thought I thought about Epcot too much! :lookaroun All the same, VERY nice work! Amazing the amount of thought that you put into that. If only it could be reality...that would be one heck of an Epcot. :o

One thing Evan, you've REALLY gotta work on your EPCOT Center logo drawing skills.

Heh...I did it last night. Had no other work to do and this was very relaxing.:)

Thanks for the comments! I would LOVE for this to be a reality....The movement of buildings would be the only REAL problem.

And yes, I know my EPCOT Logo and Handwriting is wonderful.:dazzle::p

Thanks for reading, Travis!

Finally out of Lurk Mode, I see.:rolleyes::wave:

Thanks for the feedback! Even I thought the move of CoP is a bit unorthodox.

Not in my opinion, basically it is to American home technology what SSE is (or was) to Telecommunications.

And since they removed the "Galaxy Theater" and all that construction equipment will be right there for the SM rehab, well, now is the time, now is the best time.....:lookaroun

Great concepts sir, hope to hear details of each pavilion in the....future (world).

The "all epcot, all the time" thread would be perfect. You could detail a new pavilion every few weeks. That would be fun. The future flight/soarin/land concept is great as is your FoN/LaL merger you mentioned.

Bravo :sohappy:
