It would be! Unfortunately, it turned out to be someone in a wheelchair or something. We began our slow moving journey shortly after we stopped. :brick:![]()
You can usually tell which type of stop it is according to HOW the cars stop. If they ease down to a stop (especially if it was preceeded by creep-mode), it's just to load/unload a handicapped Guest.
But if it lurches to a stop very quickly (and you'll know it's a quick stop, there's a lot of clunking involved), it's an E-stop due to either a ride incursion or mechanical fault (or manual CM E-stop at load rather than the slow-to-a-stop button).
I've only ever been on the attraction once during an actual E-stop. It was years ago in the steepest part of the descent just out of 180top, just under the mid-air TV news screen before the classroom. A few minutes later a CM came past us very quickly heading up the stairs, so it was most likely a ride incursion. Five or ten minutes later we were moving again.
