Alien Encounter AA?

I reality, you actually only saw the alien for a couple of seconds, not really long enough to digest the design.

It was really more theater of the mind.

And that video that Luige11 posted....wow, you can see EVERYTHING that you aren't suppose to see! Cool.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
I've said it before: I think they could take the shell of the Alien from AE (RIP), throw a new skin on it, and put it in The Great Movie Ride in the Alien scene. It'd be a great addition.

It's spelled Megaguirus.

I cannot unsee the AE Alien as Megaguirus now. Thanks.
Also, for the hell of it, the Godzilla Body Slam scene from that movie

Both AA aliens, TK and 9-Eye were put into storage in various locations ;)

The best photo of the alien in `action`and the actual figure:

I've said this before, but I think it would be so cool to have the timekeeper AA up in TTA. I know it's probably too costly, or would make the ride too maintenance-intensive, but I think that would be a heck of a lot better use than sitting in storage for future cannibalization.

Actually, it would be super easy to put him into a show scene on TTA. Make him mayor of TL or something, greet the trains as they pass.
Simple, fairly cheap, easy.....nah, they'll probably never do it.

That is a great idea! Now you need to come up with one for the AE AA

Guests don't want creative and enjoyable ride enhancements that could happen when the ride at this very moment is down for rehab.... :lookaroun

They want time share sales booths!! Didn't you see the survey results!!!? :fork:

No haven't you heard they are going to add Disney Vacation Club information to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. With the Time Keeper and Dream Finder giving the spiels.

How hard would it be for them to replace that scene with the woman getting her hair done in the salon?! They might as well put something ENTERTAINING in there!!! Even if it broke down and we just had Timekeeper chilling out, I'd rather look at that than what is there. :)

If it meant getting them back....:lookaroun:lol::lookaroun

I was at Contemporary last weekend and DVC had two booths set up: One at the top of the escalator on the 4th and another behind the Fantasia shop there (and there were probably more). The first at the escalator is understandable, but who goes back behind Fantasia that they need a table in that location? It's no man's land, with the exception of a sundries shop, and if you've gone up to the 4th, you've passed the first DVC. The rep never even acknowledged my BF and I walking by. Musta hit their quota :D

I still wish they had gone with the original A L I E N concept for AE. Biggest FAIL ever by dropping the ball on that one:(.... Who cares if it scared and ate children or not, grrr:fork:!!!

That scene and the one that kinda sorta looks like Space Mountain should go and be replaced with something much cooler. It would be interesting to try to give TTA a storyline... One think I really hope changes after the refurb is the narrator. I would love to see Stephen Fry do it. That would be quite interesting...

I know that one day it'll have to go, but I dread it. That's one of my "Disney moments," hearing the sounds of that spiel. It gives me that "feeling."

Shame on you!!!! :fork:
