I understanD that is why I think it should be something along the scale of DL no a whole land.
It is far from a whole land. It is not like the entire 20k plot is being used for PH. It is roughly 4 times the size of the current Pooh playground and a good 1/3 to 1/2 of that area being a playground and not the meet n greet.

Yes, the original plans have been scaled back. Some parts cut, some parts deffered to future phases. Mermaid and probably Gastons are still phase one.

Don`t have a go at TDA - it`s their budget to play with. Have a go at TDO for not knowing what a budget is.

Also the rumored rise which probaly won't happen but I see your point. Heck most of the expansion is meet and greets anyway, I just wish we were getting Alice.

So, so true. And so infuriating.

With this sort of thinking, this is going to be it for a long while, huh?

I'm really happy this wasn't passed.

Think they'll actually use the money they saved by giving it the axe?

Do we know precisely what is going and what is staying? What is coming in the next year or two and what has been pushed back further (if not indefinitely)?

It should be pointed out that Al's only talking about the budget for the dark ride being "slashed and burned." He makes no mention of Pixie Hollow as a whole being cut.

Ugh... This is disgusting news... I love how they announce new E-ticketS(emphasis on the S) and expansions for Disneyland but they talk about cuts for WDW. My goodness! What has TDO come to!? All those people in that place are just money-wanting, idiots! UGH! Right now, it's WDW that needs the most help. DL itself is fixed, and DCA is currently getting fixed, so what, are they just going to leave WDW out? Is it going to stay as stale, and with a lack of upkeep forever!? And I find it simply disgusting and rude that they tell us and get us excited over something that isn't going to happen or will get cut! This is so uncalled for and unecessary! Shame to whomever was involved in promoting this! *cough*TDO*cough*

I read this article and my blood rushed to my head of anger. I have a terrible bitterness towards WDW Management as of now...

The problem is TDO is not as afraid of passionate WDW Fans as TDA is afraid of passionate DL fans.

Yes, but one day, they will do something that will anger us WDW fans so much that it will spark some sense into them.:fork:

We're pretty much getting crapped on by TDO. Let's not do examples.

Shame...

Great. This budget gets cut, while on the other coast, Disneyland is getting new E-Tickets,updated shows, and across the way 2 billion is being spent. The same thing is happening in Hong Kong,Paris and Tokyo.

Not cool Disney. Not cool.

 Cutting capacity and spending is a good idea to you? Wow, that's dull, I'm sorry. Investment is investment. And I wouldn't comment on the subject matter, seeing that you have no idea how it was going to be presented. I'm no Tink Fan, but I am pretty sure this was going to be technically amazing.

Hopefully it still is...I REALLY hope it was not cut.

Like I say, Disney is fine. It's WDW that needs the help.

Yeah,I meant TDO. I think Burbank is seeing how lax and haphazard WDW management is and will try to dump what is left if Jay's yes-men. (Meg)

Burbank gives them a good expansion, they cut the budget. TD Blow is perfect.

It appears DL is not perfect to many. I notice many complain about their TLand and lack of FrLand- no wonder they were looking in both areas.

All the more reasons to go to DLR! ;) but the E-Tickets for DL are just rumor at this point, until Disney officially announces them if true. DCA can't have all the love at DLR well I guess it can till Carsland :D:cool:

heres hoping this rumor on MK's Fantasyland are false... although part of me wouldnt be surprised if it is true :(
