Anyone who wonders what happened to good service; check this out---------
I was just at my neighborhood Burger King and was waiting at the drive-up window. After about eight minutes, I could see they were finally getting my order together. One clerk tells another "You would think when these people see all these cars they would go someplace else"
To add insult to injury, when I get home, my son's cheese sticks are not in the bag. Now I have to get in my van and round the corner to collect them.
Anybody blame me for firing off a nastygram to BK headquarters?

Fast Food!

I hate fast food places anymore.

The other night at Chick-fa-Lay the same thing happened to us. We ordered, looked in our bag (luckily in the parking lot), and notice they left out 3 chicken sandwiches, and fries!

So rude.

I quit going to BK a long time ago for the same kind of reasons... they could never get things right, and took for ever to get it my way!......Hold the pickel, hold the lettuice...hold the whole order...I,ll go to Checkers, McD, Wendy, Steak and Shake.....BUT never again to whopperville!:brick:

I think it's the speakers!! If I can't understand what they're saying, I assume they can't really hear me, either! ;)

I can't remember if this was Burger King or McDonald's, but years ago, one of these places used to have a saying/policy that if you were not served your food within some timelimit (like a minute), that your meal was free...Does anyone else remember something like this, too?

I have made it a habit now to check the bag, before I leave the place to make sure my order is right.

Me and the Wendys across the street are engaged in a never ending war....

Ever get a triple burger that only has 2 and a half meat patties in it? I have...

Ever get fries that are ALL burnt? I have...

How about a soft drink with 99% ice? I have....

How about 4 chicken nugets when there should be 5? Yep..that too...

...add to that the fact that if I get ketchup or a straw...it MUST be a good (and rare) day.

Its a shame...when I lived in Delray..I went to "daves" wendys...the one closest to his house...that place ROCKED! Now I think I go to the WORST in the US.

...but my Taco bell..now there is a great bunch of people..no complaints...

How about a Pepsi with a fly in the bottom? That happened once to my brother-in-law and once to my cousin-in-law! I'm not entirely sure which of the above mentioned places this occured at, but I know for sure it was one of them.

It's so interesting to hear about different eateries. The Wendy's here has the most efficient drive-thru I have ever seen. The ONLY reason I went to BK is it is in my back yard; one lot over. Popeye's is just as bad as BK. They refuse to make more onion rings after 6pm. I wrote corporate about that deal after 6 tries at getting onion rings and never heard a response. I have to really crave onion rings to put up with Popeye's employees's attitudes. Taco Bell lately has had awesome service.
Anyone think part of the problem is this?: When we were teens, the ONLY way we got spending money was to get a job for it. Our parents didn't have money to hand to us as most families had more children=less disposible income. We would do ANYTHING for money; mopping floors, stocking shelves, working weekends, was never beneath us. Kids nowdays in general have more because parents didn't have so many kids. Parents nowdays don't want their kids to struggle like they did. Parents nowdays have more money and will help the kid out if they need to quit their jobs so they could have weekends etc. off. The end result is alot of young workers have attitudes of "I'm working on my terms or I won't work"-mom and dad will help me out of a jam.
My mom and dad wouldn't and couldn't. That's the difference.
