Well my yard is a swamp from the four feet of snow that only finished melting about a week ago. So if I'm a TDO plant, someone forgot to tell the New England weather that it's supposed to be 70 degrees in February, not 15 and blizzardy.
Where in New England is it supposed to be 70 degrees in February. Apparently I made the wrong choice with coastal Connecticut.

You have more coming. We had snow here today in Ohio. Not enough be bothersome but it's return hits you in the gut. It clashes with my sunburn from this weekend from working in the yard. My skin and body are soooo confused.

I've never noticed this in person, but does AdvL just stop and LS just start between these two buildings?

Well, yes, the border between Liberty Tree and Adventureland Veranda is the border between the lands, but it's not like there is a path walking along that wall that is shown. There's a bridge over the water that connects the two lands, but it's not right near those buildings (it's closer to the Hub) and the view is blocked by trees.

Yep, Liberty Square is attached to Adventureland, you just usually can't tell because the trees have hidden it until they start clearing out things. Those photos show things that are usually not visible to guests. But construction...

I assume the folliage will return. If it doesn't, they will need a transition like the progression from the east (Main Street) side of Crystal Palace to the west (Adventureland) side. It's subtle there but works well.

Maybe we'll get some weird Disneyland Adventureland/Frontierland transitional moment where one half of one building is one thing and one half of another building is another. LOL
