I'm curious as to the favorite non-Disney attractions to people on this board. Just for fun, here are mine, in no particular order. I tended not to focus on roller coasters (which I love), but more on unique experiences.

-Star Trek Experience, Hilton Las Vegas - I'm not a Star Trek fan, but what happens when you are first going to board the simulator is incredibly cool!)
-Big Shot, Stratosphere, Las Vegas - best adrenaline rush)
-Yankee Cannonball, Canobie Lake Park, New Hampshire - I love old wooden coasters, and for some reason, this dinky one in a dinky park is one of my favorites, especially in the front seat.
-Spiderman, Islands of Adventure - The one Universal attraction that is 100% on par with anything Disney has done!

Spider-man - IoA (and I agree with what you said about it!)
It's funny you mention the Yankee Cannonball...I love it also!!! (VERY FAST WITH A LOT OF AIRTIME for a dinky little wooden coaster)
I also like the Cyclone at SFNE along with Batman at SFNE
(Not a big fan of S:ROS at SFNE though)
MIB Alien Attack and E.T. too :)

and don't shoot me...but Popeye's Bilge Rat Barges is the best raft ride I've ever been on :)

Yankee Cannonball

Yes, it is airtime... Airtime galore!

Besides that, there is always, er---

Any old wooden coaster and any steel coaster (newer) at any park that I've been to, most were fine and fun. I think. If I remember...

And yeah, Univ. Studios does have some innovative, fun attractions. I just can't pinpoint just one.

I haven't been to many places, but so far I really, REALLY like the Superman and SFDL, and every other roller coaster I've been on :hammer:

My favorite park outside of WDW is Kings Island. I haven't been up there in a long time, but my favorite ride out of there is The Beast. I've always been a sucker for good wooden coasters though.

Spiderman at IOA along with Jurassic Park River Adventure
The Underground at Adventureland in Des Moines, just for the sheer cheesiness of that park's futile attempt at a POTC style dark ride and in general the ripoffage of the Disney parks. They got a main street complete with train that has a identical station to DIsneyland's and even has a floral pattern out front, though an A in this case and a Old West area with a shooting gallery and they have a Skyway style ride)
