ABC/Lost/Disney Question..........

Not the case with LOST...not at all.
This thing is a giant, finely crafted jigsaw puzzle and the pieces are just starting to fall into place. Genius.
Indeed! In fact, I just stumbled across another little connection while perusing Lostpedia. Back in season 2 when the tail-section survivors were having their first interactions with the Others, they happened across a knife with "U.S. Army" engraved on it. Well, now we know where that came from...

Ooohhhh....good one.
What's blowing my mind, is that Desmond and Penny named their son Charlie, after Charlie Pace. What if, due to all the time jumping, the kid grows up to be Charlie Pace? The mind reels.....

Ow, my brain hurts. (of course, he could also be named after his grandfather, Charles Widmore).

Admittedly I don't watch LOST all that much, so I don't know what extent time travel and aliens play in the storyline. However the big problem I have with introducing time travel, aliens, and the super natural into shows is they just become a deux ex machina and open the door for sloppy writing. I am not saying that HAS happend in LOST, but the door is open, lets see if anybody walks through.

The writing on the show is simply incredible week to week.

Little details that many people didn't even notice the first few seasons, suddenly turn out to be major plot points. The intelligence and continuity it takes is quite a load, but the writers are clearly up to the challenges producing a show like this requires.

This is a show that constantly rewards viewers because it does answer some questions over time (while leaving the huge ones out there) while coming up with new questions.

Unlike a show like say the X-Files that seemed like the writers had no clue where they were going, anyone who watches Lost can tell that from Day 1 there was an end game and the question was going to be how many stops/detours there would be along the way.

How about Daniel being held at gunpoint by his mother in 1954?

Or Locke being likewise by Charles Widmore?

How about the thought that Charlotte could be another daughter of Widmore ... or that Dr. Chang's baby was Miles? Or someone else we know?

And why is it important that Jack and Claire's 'dead' daddy wears white tennis shoes?

I just love that show ... I wish they were going at least one more season because I think there's plenty of backstory and futurestory they could do.

Just because a show airs on ABC does not give Disney ownership of the copyrights and trademarks. Does Disney actually OWN Lost?
Doubtful.
Most likely Bad Robot still controls all the rights, other than broadcast.
Like American Idol wasn't licensed from Fox, it was from Freemantle.

"But don't you know what's behind the Blue Door?"

*Door Opens*

*Looks surprised*

*Reveals a Blue Convertible with a Monkey juggling eggs and creepy circus music playing*

*LONG pause*

Grandma?

( Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm just the worst kind of person.)

Anyways...can't Joss Whedon get a Disney Ride first?

Wow great theories! I'm liking the one with Faraday and his mom the best. With her name being Ellie and Ms. Hawkings name Eliose! That one makes the most sense. Along with the one about Miles.

Oh, yeah. The SERENITY "mule" (hovercraft) ride at Universal!
Reavers on your tail....
Animatronic Wash making jokes...
:sohappy:
I would so never get off that ride....

I was thinking like Star Tours but with a Stormrider-sized Cabin mocked up to be the inside of a FireFly-class cargo bay, but was retrofitted for busing passengers between worlds.

I'd want it to have REALLY extreme movements though to simulate a really steep descent and some crazy maneuvers.

And instead of "Star Tours" you have "Blue Sun" run the show.

What's really gonna blow my mind...possibly beyond all repair?
When those two skeletons they found back at the beginning, the "Adam and Eve"...turn out to be the remains of Jack and Kate.

I was thinking they might be Desmond and Penny or Faraday and Charlotte.
