I made the distinct mistake of wandering into some comment sections on Rogue One. I know the internet can be a cesspool, but I feel like something weird has taken hold this year in particular.

I think BvS was a jumping point for an angry cohort and it's just intensified to tear apart anything without a white male lead.

Anyways, I am very excited for Rogue One. I honestly think this is the most excited I've been for a Star Wars movie.

Has anyone here been to a Dolby Cinema (Dolby Vision Laser Projector/Dolby Atmos) before? Weather permitting, I'm making the trek up to North Jersey to see Rogue One at their AMC Prime Dolby Cinema next week.

Dolby Cinema is truly delightful. I rarely want to pay for movie tickets, but when I do, I check first to see what's available near me in Dolby.

After chucking the drift car, they've settled on a more traditional ride system, a variation of which is already in place at UOR. While the drift car was cool, I don't think anyone is going to be disappointed with Mario Kart. It's going to be REALLY fun.
I think I might be a little more excited for DK Mine cart after seeing the various patent plans.

Yeah, USH. It would just seem like too much of one thing in one park. I also can't see the train being done as well as Orlando.

Diagon at USH is still far off and a lot can change in that timeframe. Personally, I would hope that Gringott's is not cloned anywhere as it's a garbage attraction, but by the time Diagon gets started (based on the current timeframe) a lot can happen. Pets and Nintendo are much more imminent.

A gentleman offers his arm to a lady, he does not take liberties, even with a hovering hand.

Address the princesses as "your highness" (or, if a queen, "your majesty"). After that you can say, "ma'am", but being a commoner, you'll eat your vowels and pronounce it as 'mum'.

It would be a kindness to ask a polite question regarding the royal's known exploits, e.g., "You highness, what was the most interesting thing about moving into a royal palace?" (applicable to Belle, Ariel, and Cinderella).

When you first enter, a royal will greet you with a photopass photographer at the ready. "C'est Belle! Magnifique!"

As they come to the table, you'll have to take your own pictures. So, have your cameras ready.
You could always make it extra creepy.. by holding a bag of doritos in one hand, a trilby in the other, and say "M' lady" as you tip your trilby full of cheeto/doritos dust.

I'm all for changing a story sometimes, if it works. Maleficent just doesn't do that. I like that she's the "mistress of all evil" for no apparent reason at all. Giving a backstory as to why she's mean ruined it for me (kind of like Ron Howard's How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which gave a backstory on how the Grinch came to hate Christmas, despite the original source material stating no one knew why he hated Christmas). What they did to the Three Good Fairies was wrong. I could go on.

Cinderella wasn't exactly like its animated version, but even if it was, I'd rather watch that over and over again before ever taking time to watch Maleficent again. Beauty and the Beast is great the way it is...why change it? And based on the trailer, I can already tell the live-action version will not be exactly like the animated one.

All of Disney's recent live-action films are cash grabs because they're all animation-to-live-action projects and guaranteed to make money. There's nothing truly original about any of these films, Maleficent included. I can't remember the last time Disney made a truly live-action film that not only received stellar ratings, but also made lots of money.
Im pretty sure that these new remakes arent just for us who seen the original, but for the new generation of kids.. using the most modern CGI to pretty much throw all new kids into disney full force.

From OU, another piece of the "Donkey Kong" permit.

When the rumors first came out I knew they had to find a way to have you jump between tracks. I can't imagine what else they would've drawn this up for.
Kinda scary if the elevator (#28) fails and it ends extended when it should have retracted.. getting beheaded by (124-122-120) on figure 152
