@Mike S.....THIS is theme park related. Universal filed for new patents...;) Looks like Mario Kart and an Iron Man ride to me.

Although different, I thought I would share this. I have this downstairs next to the beer fridge (duh). It still works perfect and I don't have to drop any money in it. I remind myself regularly that I USED to be really good at it.o_O

Watching Maleficent on SyFy out of curiosity. Wow this is bad.
I know, it was awful. Notice how she doesn't do anything evil in the movie, which goes against the entire point of showing the story from her perspective. They took one of Disney's greatest villains and turned her into a lame hero who looked out for Sleeping Beauty during her childhood because the fairies are completely incompetent in this version. :banghead:

Alas she has her heart set on the Norway princess dinner. I'm envisioning a lot of awkward conversation a hover-hand photos.

A gentleman offers his arm to a lady, he does not take liberties, even with a hovering hand.

Address the princesses as "your highness" (or, if a queen, "your majesty"). After that you can say, "ma'am", but being a commoner, you'll eat your vowels and pronounce it as 'mum'.

It would be a kindness to ask a polite question regarding the royal's known exploits, e.g., "You highness, what was the most interesting thing about moving into a royal palace?" (applicable to Belle, Ariel, and Cinderella).

When you first enter, a royal will greet you with a photopass photographer at the ready. "C'est Belle! Magnifique!"

As they come to the table, you'll have to take your own pictures. So, have your cameras ready.

Maleficent is terrible. There wasn't one thing about the movie I enjoyed. Just all kinds of bad.
Alright, don't get me wrong, Maleficent is terrible. It's an awful movie. BUT at least it tries to do something very different to justify its existence. There was a creative vision there even if it wasn't a good one. Same with the live action Alice films.

I'd take that over just straight remakes like Cinderella and (based on what we've seen and heard) Beauty and the Beast. They aren't changing the stories in any significant way. The visuals are heavily inspired by the animated versions. Why do those movies exist? They feel like straight up cash grabs with no creative vision behind them.
