Im moving back to FL just in time to experience VB in all its glory..

on the Pew Pew thing, Universal (and some of their die hards) act like the punk who has a chip on their shoulder because they have something to prove...they have done that overall and now its just plain mocking Disney

However confident they are in Nintendo, they would be ignorant to not think Pew Pew land will be threat

I rode ET this summer, and man was it in bad shape. The human AAs were barely moving, there was tons of garbage laying below the track on the alien planet, and ET's voice was so muffled you could barely make out your name. It is truly sad that they can't maintain their most classic attraction.

Until this summer, I had last rode it in 1990, so I didn't remember it so well. Even when I rode it in 1990 the names were muffled for me. That being said I trust your guys assessment as you would know better than me.

Maybe it is the queue, I love the most. I really feel like I am in a forest. Still super cool!

Because they aren't that immature?

Universal was just bantering with someone who claimed that NinLand was in response to SWL. They didn't go out of their way to start something with Disney. Because, obviously, announcement dates are meaningless to judge 'response' since there's a lot of prep work leading up to a decision to launch a new land. You don't hear an announcement of a competitor's new land and throw together your own new land in response in just a few months from scratch.

Now, accelerating announcements and schedules in response to a competitor... that's a whole different story.

I think the water sounds and music will do a lot to muffle the road noise after they landscape it
You ain't kidding. The sites not exactly huge either. It'll be interesting to say the least.

Berms! Berms are the answer to everything. They're going to berm the spit out of that water park. They'll be berms so high, you'll just be able to see the tip of the volcano from the road.

Berms.

I wish berms. Only some berms. Have you seen how close some slides are to Turkey Lake? They practically swing over the road (exaggeration). Honestly, while there is room for foliage and berms in some places, by no means will they fit in all places.

I'm sorry, but a Yoshi ride feels redundant if they are already building Mario and DK E-tickets, in addition to flat rides. I'm just worried Nintendo land will only consist of the Mario universe. I was hoping we would also get to visit Hyrule, but that may not be the case now.
I don't mean to be rude, but have you played Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong? Nintendo, and many gamers including myself treat them as different franchises from the Mario series. Think MCU in which it's multiple franchises that cross over with each other. Also, they would be completely stupid not to build Hyrule or at least a Zelda ride. I not only want it, I expect it, but it'll probably be phase 2.
