And it's only going to get moreso with Nintendo.

Nintendo is going to take more time than UNI fanbois want to hear. And it has seen cuts (the Zelda attraction being one).

Disney is going to have more additions to its parks over the next few years. But the real battle will be two-fold: Disney Springs vs. City Walk and hotels. Both companies will be placing major $$$ behind increasing on property lodging options and upping their games (and with Disney, at least, price points as well).

This is the time when Beijing starts taking resources from other places. Orlando would be one ...

Zelda was cut?

The most recent rumors I've read never mentioned Zelda for USF at all. Just Mario Kart, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong. All I've read on Zelda is an expansion land later on like how Diagon Alley is. Also the opening in Orlando is supposedly 2020. Is that not in line with your info?

I posted on the WL DVC that those cabins are something you would see in the pine barrens in NJ. The roofs are horrible and stick out like sore thumb. They ripped out all the trees and none are coming back even though you have pixie dusters swearing wait until they are finished. lol

I watched a video earlier with my good friend Ken Potrock (honestly, he does seem like a nice guy for a soulless Disney VP when you have him one-on-one) and the video they show seems to suggest that the cabins will be surrounded by greenery, but I don't see it. The trees removed were natural and were there before Walt flew over the property (why do I want to start a tangent on idiot fanbois who spend $35 for 28 & Main tees like the Florida Project one that has been hanging in the outlet stores for months now?)

I think Disney will plant tiny little shrubs and trees like you'd put in an outlet mall parking lot. They have just decimated that area. I spent 11 days at WLV before Christmas and it was truly sad to see what they've done to the place.

Come on @WDW1974 - you should be commenting on the new GoTG trailer :) Loved the music... special effects seems pretty 'soundstage greenscreen' in some of the shots tho. Eager to see if they can have lightning strike twice.

I am sure GotG will be fun. I am also sure it won't be as good as Deadpool. ... I still want to go back to 2007 and do a poll of Disney fanbois about their feelings for Marvel.

For some reason this made me YouTube Song of the South (if you watch it in 5-8 minutes pieces, the entire film is available or looks like it is).
Now that's a live action reboot I want Disney to put into production ( word for word like the original ). Looks like there are two Captain Nemo movies coming out..."...one by Disney and the other FOX.

Zelda was in the early plans and dropped. Have heard nothing about it getting put back later. ... Yes, 2020 time frame is accurate right now.

Not the new show. The special DVC Moonlight Magic show.
Oh...

Darn.

Ok, no surprise terrible info then. I really wouldn't be surprised if Zelda was put off to make a whole land based on the latest game Breath of the Wild.

Oh, and just a quick note, but an important one that came to me earlier tonight but ... all those plans for HKDL, TDL and EPCOT ... are all in flux right now. Just because Disney has said things are happening doesn't mean they are or in the manner announced or on the timelines. Just a word to anyone planning trips or thinking on making decisions based upon when they think things will open or change etc. A lot of things are being rethunk in the swamps. And HK is having major political problems with backing Disney's plans. And TDL plans are actually becoming more impressive, but changes are happening ... and that is all.

Is TDL becoming more impressive due to USJ or the Olympics or both? Appreciate all your input and information throughout all your threads.

With regards to WDW/Epcot, are the revision of plans for the better? Is there any optimism?

What areas are being rethunk in the swamps? New transportation options? Revamping the different resorts? I always thought Disney would try an eliminate the value resorts and upgrade them to moderate resort prices. Sounds like EPCOT is getting the screws put to it again.
