Honestly, at this point, Disney needs to simply concede the business until a new CEO comes in because Bob has proven totally inept here. And this isn't a must be in business ... Disney can license and let others create.

That is completely stating the obvious. But You also said you see moments of them (CURRENT leadership) "doing the right thing". You cant claim both sides of the discussion.

If we go off what this board says most refurbs are bad and nothing gets fixed then pirates changed that course... The work on the exteriors is being done... Did not have to be but they are doing it as the average pixie duster would never have noticed the faded paint....

I don't think this leadership gets it but I am starting to see investment back int he park for the first time in a long time... Go look at Parents posting... It is even confirmed by numbers...

It's the PATTERN across the entire TWDC enterprise, CUT, CUT, CUT and invest NOTHING yet buy back stock at rates far exceeding companies of similar capitalization. Yes Castle has probably run it's course, But Disney is not replacing cancelled shows with similar shows they are putting CHEAP replacements out there, I expect lots of cheap reality crap to flood ABC.

The point is they are not SPENDING like a healthy, successful enterprise

Funny how it took 10+ years of quarterly numbers games for Bob to finally get it, that Disney isn't a quarterly company - They're a long term company.

The super smart thing to do would have been to keep the Lucasfilm studio that kept putting out great products and consolidate it all there.

The Disney Infinity thing was an attempt to combine toys and gaming. While it was a great idea, just poorly executed for a number of reasons (like backwards compatibility). THAT should have been licensed.

Imagination should be a clone of Mystic Manor, just replace characters

It would be perfect but it's been pointed out before that it's impossible without doing some truly major work. The LPS system requires a flat floor and the current interior of Imagination has quite a few elevation changes.

I think it'd be easy enough to adapt without LPS. Just run it like a whimsical Haunted Mansion. You could even keep Figgie in lieu of the monkey.

Without going OT too much, even using the original ride track path (not hard) with a present day ride system would be a 1000% improvement.

With appropriate story and show scenes of course.

Which is one of the more infuriating problems with Epcot. The infrastructure is there. It's in. The buildings are ready. The space is ready. Comparatively minor remodelling, comparatively small budgets (for anyone aside from WDI) and a short timeframe could turn around Futureworld.

Even make it good again. Let alone stunning.

I think that's a bit of a cheap shot at Joe. His excursions are part of the reason DAK looks amazing. It could look like the Tragic Kingdom. And his spending on these trips while not insignificant in my world, are incredibly insignificant to TWDC.

A part of the swamps that I don't recall ever being dirty is the China Pavilion. That's because the Pavilion CM's clean it themselves (I've seen more then one out there with a dustpan and broom). One came up near me to pick up some trash, swept the trash up, and then said to me 'Welcome To China'... They take pride in it... it represents their homeland...

Since this is Mainland China's Disney Park (not Disney's Mainland China Park), it is reasonable to assume that the CCP want's it looking presentable.... as a sign of national honor.

No I mean SPENDING, Disney even now is not investing enough to even maintain their current plant and equipment, Slashing expenditures across the board yet ramping up stock repurchases all in an effort to maintain the stock price.
