Is that the official answer?
Because there are HARDLY any benches in fantasyland and its not parade route.
Even the walkways are enormous.
They aren't confusing this with Disneyland are they?

And instead of making them happy.. they are going to force to pay them more. No surprise lol.Well at WDW with the loss of Brazil and some UK tourists and the Zika scare they should be doing everything they can to make AP holders happy. Cause things are not looking rosy in Orlando right now.
It's been a while since we discussed about Shanghai Disney. It suddenly vanished when it finally opened months ago.The South China Morning post has a not too flattering report from Shanghai Disneyland as it celebrates 100 days of operation. As a certain SPIRIT had noted back in June, problems would begin to creep up once the western press had packed up and left.

EDIT: An earlier report that details the park's difficulties in keeping its E Tickets, like Roaring Rapids and Pirates, open.

and for once I didnt put the meme first.. I hope everyones happy now.Remeber Disney is a business and somethings, like pleasing your annual pass holders, MUST be thrown to the back burner as it would be an inconvenience to said business.

Probably because too much of the discussion was fueled by ridiculous speculation based on nothing close to reality. It's been a while since we discussed about Shanghai Disney. It suddenly vanished when it finally opened months ago.

I think we seen plenty of that. (aka people destroying the planters and peeing/crapping everywhere)unruly guest behavior,
I wonder.. there are hardly any bench in MK.They aren't confusing this with Disneyland are they?

Because the price now gets you everything. If the price is the same when they start blocking everyone out of anything new for months that's just dirty. Why must there "better be a dramatic price drop" ?
If you don't think it's a good deal, don't buy the thing.
Again, if they're up front with the blackout dates, then no one's trying to trick anyone and it's not underhanded.
No one's forcing you to buy anything here.
Only if they lie about the blackout dates.Because the price now gets you everything. If the price is the same when they start blocking everyone out of anything new for months that's just dirty.
I agree. An annual pass should be for the full year. They don't discount the AP for years when pretty much nothing new has opened so why make people buy premium passes when they do open something new.No one should be blocked out just because there's something new.

I think you have to put yourself into the other person's shoes. It's easy for me to say "who cares about this since I'm not a local and I don't have an AP". If I did I would be pretty upset if they suddenly put these blackouts in. It's not as easy as saying if you don't like it don't buy it. There are many AP holders who want to keep their AP and get to go to the parks when new stuff opens like they always have. They have every right to be upset if this actually happens (and remember this is just a survey not a guarantee they will actually do it).Why must there "better be a dramatic price drop" ?

Because Disney cannot be upfront about it. Just this past summer Disney missed their announced opening of Rivers of Light. What happens in such a case? Does the blackout window just keep rolling back indefinitely until the show finally opens? Why must there "better be a dramatic price drop" ?

It's kind of like false advertising out of nowhere if they suddenly do put blackouts in.

"We haven't done big new things in years and now that we are we're blocking you out unless you give us more money. Sorry/not sorry. Have a magical day."As long as they announce a year in advance the blackout dates so that the buyers are aware of them, I don't see the problem. I think it's even fair if they say there will be a blackout at DHS for (say) 60 days after Star Wars opens without giving a specific date -- they just need to disclose it in advance of selling the passes that would be affected.
That said, I would think they'd still continue to sell a top tier pass with no blackouts, no? Seems to me that as long as that is on the table then Disney isn't really blocking out Passholders, they are just only allowing a limited number of them and encouraging people to buy the higher tiered passes.
