A Spirited Dirty Dozen ...

That plot of land has been earmarked for many, many things over the years including Hercules, Glacier Bay, and now Frozen. It's just sort of funny how OLC will be doing right by Frozen, but Moana, a story about rediscovering a a people's tradition of exploring the oceans, suits the park very well on a thematic level. We have been trained as fans of the parks to associate the south seas aesthetic with Adventureland, where Moana will surely be going in the future, yet a Moana/south seas port would be a perfect fit for that park. It's also easier to transition from the South Seas to Central South American than the Fjords of Norway to Lost River Delta.

Just an observation
Glacier Bay, that was it. Thanks.

Overheard in the Splash Mountain queue today as we walked by the standby line: "how much do those fastpasses cost anyway?"

I don't understand how it's possible for a guest to not know about the system.
Between the signs, CM announcements on the trams, ticket windows, advertising, in-room TV, brochures etc
I know, not everyone is a super fan like us, but stil ...

They want to know why their assessments went up so much in one year, as we all know they haven't done anything to improve their property, and it's falling apart - at least that's what I've been reading on these forums.

:) That being said I'm not sure this is the messaging you want Wall St to get hold of i.e. our physical plant is declining in value.

So having seen Secret Life of Pets, I think people who are raving about it as the film of the year need their head examined (unless they're preteen girls).

It's just another generic talking animal movie, predictable plot, mediocre jokes, nothing we haven't seen before. All those saying it's better than Zootopia, what are you smoking? There's more wit, style, creativity and intelligence in a single minute of Zootopia than in the entirety of Pets.

It's OK, and a nice movie for kids or pet owners, but nowhere close to the bar Disney has been setting.

And saying it's better than Ghostbusters, which I watched immediately after... now come on, Ghostbusters is much, much better. If Pets really does (as predicted by everyone except me) beat Ghostbusters at the box office... well we might as well power up Skynet and get rid of humanity now, it's all we deserve quite frankly.

I'm guessing you are not a pet owner, Most of the jokes are 'inside jokes' so to speak. I'm really not surprised at it's success a good friend of mine did not get any of the cat jokes because he's always had dogs but he got all the canine jokes.
