A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

There are cases where it is absolutely legit. The issue I pointed out was around Tom putting his watermark on Disney owned artwork aka, Disney creative property, not something that was a screenshot from a survey sent out to many people.

As for me getting blocked, Tom specifically addressed my blocking via is personal feed. He did it.

I have been a very loyal listener to his podcast...I'm a Disneylander so I'm not local and think they often have good information to share and that can outweigh his childish antics and ego at times. Unfortunately, he, like many people obsessed with Disney (or anything for that matter) have a hard time acting like adults at times.

At the end of the day, it has very little impact on my life as my own Disney interests are a very small focus of my life whereas for someone like him, it's his entire life. For me, it's an escape from the daily grind. But this is a Disney site and it's natural that he and others will be called out for their behavior toward other fans...or their strange behavior in general as it pertains to Disney.
Well, his programs are not for people who easily get offended. I, personally, find it really funny, and he claims that he means well, so I'm typically fine. Might I just say that I gained a little more respect for you.

Why are there Disney Moms? Are there Disney Families? Every parent blogger in the family and not just mom's. And, the whole family in general?

Been told that Disney Blogger to the Stars, Tom Bricker, is at WDW right now (he had to be the first blogger to write about how Disney handles hurricanes!) I think we should have a contest and the first person to spot him and post a picture here can win some piece of unneeded Disney crap picked up at the outlet stores by that dude @derekburgan (preferably Star Wars related!)

Lots here that I would like to comment on, but with a major storm eyeing the swamps, I need to focus on much more important things.
What could be more important than reduced price Star Wars crap?

Hope storm went okay for you over there. On our side it was like this...

They have a lot happening before Nintendo. I expect to see at least 2 attractions (one being T2s replacement) announced for USF before Nintendo.

The other presumably a Shrek replacement? Not a ton of space in either location for anything substantial? But good that they're mixing up their offerings in that park in particular (hopefully)

I always pictured Nintendo for 2019 but as things developed I thought 2020...maybe they go with 2021 for WDW's 50th

One of the plots is large enough for an AA filled LPS trackless E Ticket dark ride.

Just to be clear, yet again, I stand by what was posted yesterday.

There is no good excuse for people conducting themselves in the way in which many did. This wasn't about one person, no matter how large his ego and how delusional he is about being a Disney reporter or journalist or what have you. His behavior over the years is totally indefensible and the idea that Disney toyed with giving him credibility shows how low their standards have fallen (basically, you can have done anything, say anything, act anyway and so long as you tow the company line and influence people then Dr. Blondie and Co say you're in!)

I know this is where I am supposed to say how great it is that WDW is reopening tomorrow and things will be back to 'normal' but for many Floridians normal is a very long way away. For some, normal will never return.

No, that doesn't mean people should stop visiting WDW or having fun. WDW is the largest economic generator for the state (why their wage inequality is so important because they set the standards for what companies in FL can get away with ... I can say that ... right? Not too political. .) And fun and a return to normalcy is needed for people. The thing is, for many, this was a whole lot more than a 48-hour inconvenience at a resort.

I hate to be defending other Disney News Websites, but the watermark thing is completely legit! Remember the Disney's Hollywood Studios rename, well that didn't come from Twitter. Actually, a YouTube Disney News channel named Mickey Views got an Email from a fan who received that survey. MV decided that it wasn't necessary to put a huge watermark on the pictures, instead, he placed his website in the corner. He posted the video the night he got them, and the next morning, he found that people on twitter stole his photos and cropped out the watermark with absolutely no credit to him. They stole the photos. Here's the original video and the video where he explains what happened:
OG:

Explanation (1:04 - 5:50):

Hence why you need a watermark. Now about the other...

First, remember that I hate defending other Disney News Sites, but this? That video was titled "Epcot Prepares for Hurricane Irma, Walt Disney World Resort" and not that garbage you said. P.S., that was posted on Friday, the day before the hurricane.

And one more thing, Tom isn't the one who moderates the twitter or website comments, he has employees (the W.D.W.N.T. network was huge once). And if you lived in Florida, which you mite, if you had to choose between going to a WDW hotel or bunkering down your house in preparation for a level 4 hurricane, which would you choose? And let me ask you this, why say anything bad at all about Tom and his site? I mean, I would like to see you try to do it!

Sorry to everyone reading this post, but I needed to say something, and you can stop reading here if you want. I know, "don't feed the trolls," but I realize that most people here really hate Tom and give him all this unnecessary crap that isn't needed, and I've been keeping silent for a long time about this. There is a program he dose called WDW News Tonight, and in one episode, he states how he really does respect WDW Magic and the forms they've managed to keep running for years now. Most rumors are stolen form here because the only other forums are on the Dis, and I think we know how those posters can be like.
Long story short, I'm sure WDW Magic will flag me and I'll get a lot of heat, but this needed to be said. Haters going to hate, but I will say this now, WDW News Today is another great Disney news source, and we need to stop hating on news about a Disney theme park.

I am sorry, and I hate doing this.

You don't hate doing this. You are probably employed by Tom or actually might be Tom again using fake account like before. And your watermark explanation couldn't be more wrong. :D

I do admire Disney's 'can do' attitude in getting WDW open so quickly and wonder how the closure might impact FQ4 2017 results. Summer wasn't good for the second year in a row, despite opening Pandora in the prior quarter.

Now, you have had a lousy quarter at the box office. And a bad quarter for broadcast networks. And in parks ... well, WDW wasn't hitting on many cylinders heading into this month. There was a reason TDO scheduled THREE Halloween Parties before Labor Day as well as starting The Fall Food and Booze Fest in August (yeah, I do recall when both events were October events). Disney lost two hard ticket nights (one NoJ, one Halloween party). Who knows what they lost on cancelled trips? And they'll say they took a loss on those $15 buffets. And we have DCL ... they cut two voyages short (refunding money) and then cancelled three cruises entirely. I don't have to tell you how profitable those are.

And how many people had to cancel, postpone or shorten trips either last week or this one?

Yeah, I think it's going to be as ugly as the typical Disney Blogger.

BTW, thanks to all who have emailed, texted, or PM'd wondering about me and my family. Sorry, I haven't had a chance to respond to many.

But we are fine, or I wouldn't be here. This storm did scare me in a way no storm has in 25 years, though. Horrible storm and saying my heart goes out to those who lost homes or businesses seems woefully inadequate.

So much pain and loss and much left to come (unless you believe FEMA will come to the aid of everyone suffering).

But not me, no mere 'cane is going to take me out. Thanks for caring!

And to my fans here, yeah, sorry ... not dead yet.

I really don't like giving these people the attention they crave. But I hear Tom has a new girlfriend (first Scarlett, then Ashley ...it's hard to keep up), maybe said poster is her?
