I really wish this were true but the demographic and political reality of modern day America strongly indicates that it is not.
Disney is following a much wiser path by not overtly taking sides on the matter.

But the question in my opinion is why have a party specifically for gays if it excludes everyone else? Anyone can get a ticket for MNsSHp or MVMCP, but a party just for gays would be exclusive to most people. The way they could make it work is by making a gay straight alliance celebration. I remember in High School they had a gay straight alliance club for everyone to join. I think that's the way to go for Disney. Edit: I would definitely attend a gay straight alliance celebration, but not a gay day.

To be perfectly honest I've never seen half the Disney movies. Only some from the 90s and from Frozen onward. Never seen Snow White, Pinocchio etc.
