Not happening. You're stuck with them and the Prequel Era is one of the main backbones to the new canon thanks to the Clone Wars cartoon.

Reminds me of the opening year of Tokyo Disneyland (Or somewhere in the 1980's) I seen years ago that had Mickey and the other Disney characters outside in the snow. I found it somewhere on this site years ago.

I think it might have to do with the countless new games having more story which started complicating the plot of the first two games. I remember KH 1 and 2 were simple to understand till Coded.
Meanwhile at Tokyo
I never did get around to the theater to see IT.
