Or how about the proposed Toon Town Trolly simulator ride? http://www.jimhillmedia.com/mb/images/upload/toontown_transit_sm.jpg

My first thoughts on this were that it was too heavily princess themed. But, when I stopped to think about it, almost all of MK has been themed with a slant toward boys. There's Stitch, Space Mountain, Speedway, Pirates, Tom Sawyer Island, Jungle Cruise, and a few others. Sure, all of those can be enjoyed by girls too, but think about the theming and stories there, and they're mostly geared toward boys. So, yes, while the makeover for Fantasyland is geared toward girls, it will help balance out the kingdom.
Another idea....Train Ride aboard Casy Junior to a remote area ala Rafiki's Watch over in DAK.
Just another thought from me while I try to do Finite Math...:lookaroun:lol:
It will be cool if they kept Toontown, plus the new Fantasyland. But, I doubt they will do that. But I hope they can put Mickey and Minnie's house in a new location. That is why people go to Toontown.
Will they retheme Goofy Barnstormer to a Pixie Hollow theme? Since they say they are trying to save it but retheme it. Because I heard Toontown will be the Pixie Hollow section.
I like that idea. But like someone else said, toontown may be better in mgm. It would be cool at either MK or mgm, but I think it would fit better there because it would set itself apart from DL and the other parks who have toontowns near fantasyland. And plus, WDW has something no other disney resort has, and thats all that space.
Now, how to explain SM nearby to ToonTown... :lookaroun
Disney can not prolong intellectual property rights to the Fab Five indefinately. The rights to Mickey, Donald and friends will in the foreseeable future expire.
Princesses and new franchises, like Stitch (the new Donald) and the fairies, seem to be the direction Disney needs to move in to.
A Toontown / Duckburg may never come to pass anymore.
I thought because they were trademarked, or something to the effect. I can't imagine there would be no way to protect characters like that, otherwise in 15-20 years Image Comics can start publishing Superman, Batman which would def hurt DC sales.
I know this has been discussed here before but a search yielded no answers - does anyone remember the answer?
