A quick question about POTC

I was watching the new version of the Disney World ride on You Tube, and when it was at the part with Davy Jones image on the waterfall, it appears that you go through the waterfall now, is that the case?

It isnt a waterfall.It is just a mist that has the image reflected on it.

you don't get wet, its more of a smoke type mist then water mist. At least the 3 or 4 times I rode it I didn't get wet.

its a smoke type of mist and looks really kewl , bc i thought you were going to get wet. but warning watch out for the surpise at the end of the scence

Yup you definitely won't get wet. Like others have said, it's a smoke screen with a projection on it, and yes, you sail right through it. One thing I will say about the effect, the first time I saw it (last year) it looked very convincing, but the last time I was there, it didn't look as good (it looked like the waterfall ended before it reached the water) :shrug:

The effect is very dependent on air flow; a blast of air from either end of the show room can blur the image; much like washing hanging on a line.

Its really interested to see this. You really think you will get wet from it but dont. Its a great effect.
