A Proposal Caught on Tape at Walt Disney World

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------with a stunning backdrop – Disney’s Polynesian Resort immediately came to mind! Let’s watch the magic unfold.

It’s not every day that cameras are on hand to capture one of life’s extra special moments. In this case, Chris asked our team if we would tag along to document the proposal experience as a keepsake for him and his bride-to-be. Chris envisioned asking for Kellie’s hand in marriage at a secluded location

Looks awfully staged

Great timing on Disney's PR people's part considering the mega-trampling of bad press they're getting for their recent antics in royally screwing a handful of their paying bridal partties. Can we say: "Nice try. Your counter-measures aren't even close to helping."

For y'all who don't know or haven't followed one our WDWMagic member's wedding planning in the weddings forum, you should see what's happening to people:

This story is all but going viral. No, our own Fashionista77 isn't the only one either. Here's where info is hitting the blog world:

And there's a thread on the wedding boards of another very popular fan forum that's reached 7k hits by now, I'm sure. People are following via Twitter & Facebook. In that other thread (sorry no link out of respect for Steve) there was another bride given just 8 days notice. People should be aware!

This sweet video, veeeery sweet video, I fear was put up to try and distract from the growing bad rap DFTWs & DVC have earned themselves. Sweet video. Bad timing for Disney to put it out there.

Is this one actually real? or another BS viral video like the Main Street "flash mob" proposal they tried to sell as real a few years ago (which ended up just being an advertisement for Summer Nighttastic).

And even that one was better, at least it was slightly entertaining

I thought it would be footage from some random guest that just happened to have their video camera recording to capture the moment. Misleading title, but it was nicely done though!

That is the absolute worst "proposal" I have ever seen. Did anyone notice the microphone tagged to the back of her bra and dress? Proposals are spontaneous and not planned in a documentary, let alone with staged mics.

This is propaganda at best.

Not sure if you knew this.. but... interviews call for microphones. She may have thought it was an interview, maybe not. She looked tremendously surprised..
