Will kids be allowed into the lounge or is it adults-only due to the bar? I forgot to ask when we were there.

Is everybody ready for a view?

There it is!

The one thing here that people strangely feel like shelling out thousands upon thousands of dollars for to have a view of for a few nights.

Mountain of Space... certainly empty of Guests at the moment.

Still awesome, in spite of all of the bad things they've done to it.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard Monorail Silver! We are currently holding for further traffic clearance. Once Monorail Orange has moved a safe distance away from in front of us, we will resume our forward motion. If you are standing, please hold onto the silver handrails, and stand clear of the automatic doors. Thank you!"

 Great views...Now, only DVC members have access from the walkway at the bottom right corner of this pic, right?
Or does this mean anyone can go and tour the BLT? :lookaroun And can anyone also go up to the roof area?

Perhaps I will try to look around in a couple of weeks. :D

Only people who are staying at BLT will be able to enter the building from the walkway. Only DVC members who are staying at BLT will be able to go to the roof area. There are card readers at the doors.

As it should be I think. Otherwise the place would be overwhelmed. Can anybody go to the top of the original tower observation areas anymore?

Also, what is your avatar? Looks cool!

Awesome pictures, thanks for the update. Anyone know whether DVC members who are staying at BLT will be able to bring guests to the Top of the World lounge? I was hearing mixed reports a couple of weeks ago...

I asked my Sales Rep and she said yes... But, I also heard no... Hopefully someone can clarify... I can't see why not though... If you have family staying with you, and they aren't on the deed, then how can they be not allowed???

Also, the Wii's... Maybe the employees were bored.. LOL... that would be awesome if a Wii comes standard in every roon...

Not my type of resort but I love the Bocce court, going to have to sneak into the resort to play a few games. Hopefully Disney will also supply the old Italian men to play with.

Thanks for taking all the pictures.

A nice feature of the elevators in this building are that they have a voice announcing the floors and such, just like in other modern hotels. I hope they add this to the elevators in the A-frame at some point.

They actually used to do that. Mickey or Goofy would announce the floor. I don't know when they stopped that. But it hasn't really been more than a few years ago.

Great pics. Still not sure what I think of it. Kind of reminds me of the Disneyland Hotel or Disneyland Pacific hotel, both of which are high-rises, but also are more landlocked than anything at WDW.

I was fortunate enough to get "bumped" up in September from a regular room at the DL Pacific hotel, to their Malibu suite, with a commanding view of DCA, which reminded me a lot of this. The suite, on their 15th floor, had a big dining room table, living room, and kitchen; the bedroom had a separate bathroom with a glass shower. Very nice. (See the attachments -- one is the parlor area of our suite, and the other was the view of Disney's California Adventure from our window. The crane you see in the picture is working on the DVC addition to their "Grand Californian" hotel, which really just looks like our Wilderness Lodge. It opens out into the "Grizzly" area of DCA. And of course you see their Tower of Terror sticking up in the middle. It is in the "Hollywood" section of that park.)

Awesome....NICE photo!

i LOVE holding on the Monos. A lot of Guests may find it 'boring' but i love it. People need to stop being so time-minded and take a moment to look out of their window and ENJOY THE SCENERY. Stop looking at your stupid cell phone ( hello...you are ON VACATION!) and take a look around!

Veiw the WORLD people....you PAID to be here!

The Wii console is in Community Hall, which is a game room with various board games, crafts, a pool table, and the like. It's a great play to hang out for a while, especially when the weather is really bad and the kids are bored.
