A new park Icon for DHS!

Ok so most do not like the BAH as the Icon and since it is no longer a working studio I don't think the Earful Tower works either.

So if it can't be BAH or the ET what would you make the new Icon of DHS?

Yea but the theme of the park is going in the opposite direction with rides luke TSM.

Or maybe a "HOLLYWOOD" sign but DISNEY STUDIOS instead?

I don't mind the BAH, just not the location. Move it to the entrance of the park. There is that little hill to the right that is behind BatB theater and the exit path for Fantasmic runs back there. Put it there. You can even leave it as a pin shop. I know it would take a lot to move it, but I'm sure everyone would be happy getting rid of it from the front of the GMR.

The park is called Hollywood Studios and parts of the park still have a studio theme(Backlot and Streets of America) and a Hollywood theme(Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset Blvd.). I think it fits fine.

Did you happen to miss the themeing of the rides and shows? They're all movies and TV shows.

What does the following have to do with Hollywood.

Toy Story Mania
Pixar Parade
Rumored and now canceled MI coaster.

The direction it is heading with its new attractions is in the total opposite direction of the HW theme.

Thats like saying it's ok to put a Meet The Robinsons ride in FL because it's a Disney movie like Peter Pan is.

The attractions I listed have no HW theme at all.

so by setting aside a whole area devoted to Pixar films is okay for DHS.

Granted it doesnt have the same resonance as OLD Hollywood. There are plenty of homages to Hollywood's past and many differnt eras of movie making. From Wizard of OZ in GMR and Gertie the dinosaur to more modern movies and icons like Indiana Jones and the Muppets.

Now as far as RnRC and SD.....not so sure?!

SD is closed now and HW is not just films I think RnRC fits fine and represents the HW recording industry. They need to adress TV as well though. I have always thought an interactive TV studio where people can see what goes into a live broadcast would be great. I think if the tie it in with ESPN it would be great ESPN Interactive Studios!
