Then I would ask you to take a fork of haggis with a scoop of neeps and potatoe mash.The combination of this mouthful is beyond your wildest dreams.Oh it's the intestines of a sheeps stomach.Ok you have me stumped this is the only thing I can find under Haggis and it looks discussing! What is Haggis?

According to Mr. Webster haggis is: a traditionally Scottish dish that consists of the heart, liver, and lungs of a sheep or a calf minced with suet, onions, oatmeal, and seasonings and boiled in the stomach of the animal.
Top a waffle with it and some nutella and go crazy.
Actually I have never tried haggis but if I ever get the chance...I'm gonna pass.

Sounds like I'm missing something nasty beyond my imagination, but please don't think I'm knocking your national dish...I'm in the southern United States, where we actually eat chitlins, so what can I say?Boo Hoo! You don't know what your missing.

Oh my god!!! I thought you Americans were all for trying new foods. It's only a suet pudding in a sheeps stomach..Och the poor wee lamb.
It is amazing how for many years before refrigeration and freezing people couldn't afford to waste any part of food and used everything and how old these dishes are. Now innards are like gourmet...
Like french onion soup. Onions were inexpensive and in abundance, water is everywhere, take some stale bread and cheese and there you go. Now even fancy restaurants serve it. So popular now.
And I must say the first time I had it was when I was a kid at Grand Floridian cafe. It was life-changing. The only thing that I think has been on a menu since the 80's.
But don't get me started. The GFC used to have themed menus and Dear GOD they were amazing and to die for back in the day.
