Great, I am so looking forward to meeting you, Deb!! And when we get on board, I'll make sure I know where your room is, so I can help you find it when you need to. :D I have an excellent sense of direction. Even when impaired. ;)

P.S.--are you in North or South Jersey? I'm just across the Tappan Zee Bridge in NY.
Now I feel safe!! :)

Good Evening Folks.Have you ever had a combo meal at WDW that was Hellish. I mean something on the same plate that just didn't work.Example,Fried Chicken & Pork Slaw. I noticed that AoA are doing a sort of fry up breakfast of eggs, bacon, cheese sauce,on top of a Naan bread.Whits that all about.? The Naan bread is for ripping up and soaking up the curry sauce & veg using your hands. So have you had a meal at Disney where the combination was just a No No.? This thread does not mean Vodka & Whisky in the same glass.;)

The breakfast thing sounds OK to me (for the most part - cheese sauce? eh) But naan is like a thick tortilla really, no more than a breakfast burrito with a different bread.

. If I were serving it to you.I would first blindfold you. Then I would ask you to take a fork of haggis with a scoop of neeps and potatoe mash. The combination of this mouthful is beyond your wildest dreams.Oh it's the intestines of a sheeps stomach.;)

Quite honestly I like haggis (with a wee dram o' course - as the poet intended) but you can keep the neeps, bleah. It think my aversion to them is from my youth. We used to grow them, and my mom would mash potatoes but also mix them in. You would see it on your plate and be all ready for the taste of mashed potato and then ..... wait .... what ...... mom, these aren't mashed potatoes!

Whit!!! Naan like a thick Tortilla ? Thank god you don't cook in my favourite Indian restaurant. There is no comparison.Ive watched our chef make the dough into the teardrop shape then slap against the wall of the tandoor oven.It should be flat on one side and bubbly on the top with a light fluffy consistency.Almost like eating cotton candy.

Wow! Some crazy combo marriage food things here.! Maybe us Scots are not adventurous as my buddies over the pond. ;)

Not strictly true Hatter, we Scots will happily delve into all manner of foodie items in our curry houses. We'll also mix various things together and a local takeaway near me does a tremendously tasty chicken tikka bhoona calzone. Haggis pakora anyone?

I haven't had the naan breakfast sandwich at AOA, but I make naan breakfast sandwiches often to take to work with me. Just another way to change up breakfast a little bit. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

If I remember correctly there is like bacon and something else on there too. I most certainly did not eat it, but DH enjoyed it. DH will try just about anything though.

According to the menu: The Famous All American Picnic Burger Flame-broiled Angus Burger Patty topped with Grilled Hot Dog, Sauerkraut, and Sautéed Onions

My husband got one of these about a year ago & loved it. It's not something I would order as it would take me a week to eat it, but the sandwich made him happy. He's a pretty adventurous eater. He even likes haggis.

Dave pretty much summed it up. Just my opinion, but these Frankenstein-like hot dog and burger concoctions, might be masking the bigger issue...

And I love gourmet burgers and dogs. I love a topping or two here and there. But I have to say even the one currently at the GFC. Lobster on top of a burger? Something is going to suffer there. Either the burger or the lobster. Only one wins out.
