Wow! Some crazy combo marriage food things here.! Maybe us Scots are not adventurous as my buddies over the pond.

IMHO, the best combination in the world is shrimp and grits...brilliant and tasty.

Would never try it...but I was shocked when I saw the All American Picnic Burger enter the menu at Sci-Fi.

A hamburger with hot dog on it and sauerkraut and onions.

Too over the top even for me. Wonder if anyone has enjoyed it.

And yeah, the hot dog that had like pastrami on it in MK...I am not that daring.

There were some more shockers, I would have to think about it.

To me any dish served with broccoli rabe. I think it’s bitter and I just can’t stand the stuff.

Totally don't blame you. Made badly it is bitter. I only eat my family's. Cooked with a bit of evoo, red pepper flakes, garlic, and they do something else to it and it isn't bitter. I'd have to ask.

I've never had them, but some of those specialty hot dogs (like the hot dog with mac & cheese on it) look very unappetizing to me.

Well, I drifted away from bad matches to wonderful matches, and the Nutella waffle sandwich is heavenly, the more fruit the better.

Is that liftable or does it go unsaid that cutlery is involved? LOL!
I need them separated.Just me...

But I do my fries with little dips of mayo on the side and my DH cringes. He would say that is a head-scratching combo. But other parts of the world do that more than ketchup.

I looked it up a long time ago to back myself up with DH, LOL!

If food had feelings, I'd likely feel some pity for the poor mac & cheese subjected to a life of being a hot dog topping.
