I was on the second floor of the train station and I could see from there that Olaf was a foot taller than Anna.

I agree. It was very well done. It was impressive. There was no singing. It was a good incorporation of the projectors. I also agree that frozen is 100% over blown & oversaturated and over done right now and it's just going to get worse as the month goes on…
Olaf's friends are the shortest performers, the costume is just insanely tall.

Great job! I especially loved how the projections were worked into the transformation. Hopefully, when (or if) Cinderella, Mickey and the rest return, some form of the projections will be added into the show.

I think the show is great as is. No need to go all fan-ficcy again and bring out the Cinderella cast.

Besides, why would Cinderella get final say over the castle getting the ice treatment anyway? Last time I checked the King wasn't dead at the end of her movie.

I saw that kiss on the cheek she gave the King at the end of her movie; she could get anything she wants out of him.

You realize all of the face characters were talking live right? Nothing was prerecorded which I absolutely LOVE. It's so refreshing to have live actors on the castle stage again. Even though the film voices are nice, there's just something really off about perfectly capable performers and actors lip synching to simple prerecorded dialogue. LOVE THE NEW SHOW. Great job entertainment!
Are you sure? It was hard to see where I was sitting. My vision isn't what it used to be, to me it sounded pre recorded. But if it isn't that is nice. I had just assumed it was pre recorded much like the old holiday show was.

It will be easy to figure out in the next week as multiple days of the lighting are put on youtube, and you can start multiple windows with the video going to see how well the performances sync.

In the video the 3 people are all wearing microphones. I'm assuming they don't put fake mics on people but who knows.

It did sound a bit prerecorded not the whole show but parts of it. (Obviously Olaf was)

I stood in the center of the Hub for the first light and stood immediately in front of the stage for the second. Only took pics and not videos so I can't prove it, but they definitely were not lip-syncing up there.

Saw the video. I dunno. The show was good and nice reference to their "visiting." Still, it doesn't feel right. Cinderella and the classic characters should be there. At least have Cinderella invite Elsa, joined by her Frozen friends, to light the castle.

Lip-synced or not, the show is still very tasteful.

Mostly every show at WDW is lip-synced, why should this one matter?

EDIT: I doubt it's lip-synced, but I'm just making a statement.

As much as it pains me to say it, this show is not that bad. My only complaint, which others have already mentioned is that Cinderella, Mickey, Minnie, and the gang are absent from the show which to me doesn't feel right. The event is still called "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party" right? Idk, it's a small complaint to an overall good edition to the event (thank Galactus they didn't perform Let It Go!). Personally I thought it would be hilarious to have the king (not knowing Cinderella invited guests) notice the Frozen cast from the balcony of the castle and have a mini-panic attack as to why someone is freezing up the place (sorcery and all that). Afterwards Cinderella shows up to explain everything, introduce the Frozen cast, and go on from there.
