Castle just went totally dark and 6:45 of DAWM just started. Guess that's how they justify the second lighting show...
See if they come back on right after DAWM. In the past DAWM used the strobes for the pyro finale then I'm guessing they came back on. There are no Videos out there of the lights retuning right after Dream Along.

Thats what I was wondering. Years past there was only 1 castle lighting. So they actually turn out the lights at one point for the second show I guess.

I like it :D

Did seem a bit odd the way they felt they had to justify lighting the castle. I think Disney has been reading this board, and this particular thread too much. :cautious:

I also felt Elsa was channeling Charlotte from the Princess and the frog a little there at one point. (5:40 on the video... probably just me, but she sounded so much like her)

Okay it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. The actual lighting was fantastic and I loved that Elsa admitted that it wasn't actually their kingdom. Overall, a nice addition.
Forgot to mention this in my first post! My jaw hit the floor when she said something about "just visiting" or whatever. I was kind of just expecting them to show up, play Let it Go, and turn the lights on. :p

I don't think there could be a better reason than tonight for the hub expansion. So many people...

The crowd seemed to really enjoy the show. Lots of big reactions to Olaf's jokes; just cute. The castle looks spectacular!

I am going to try and hold off from watching it until I can see it in person when we are there over the Christmas Holidays. But, I am glad to hear all of the positive reactions about the show.

With the exception of the actual lighting, it doesn't have ANY of the heart that the original show had. Having said that, what an incredibly spectacular improvement to j the lighting!! I got goosebumps. Wish they could've incorporated Mickey and the gang too.

Mickey is so overused. I'm glad they finally let him go. It's not like it was all started by a mouse.

;)

ETA: You know, I think it might have been nice if Mickey and Minnie happened to stroll by after Elsa, Anna, Hans and Olaf left. Just a simple comment from Minnie: "Oh look Mickie! It's so beautiful!" and then they leave.
