Zoe, sorry to hear about your cat. My cat is like one of my kids. We have a cat named Minnie and we ahve JolieFae(pretty girl in French). A popular name for a cat around here is menew (pronounced Me'-New) French for cat.

Well, as you all know my name is MrPromey (bet you can't guess what Disney movie that came from). My real name is Eric. I am S/W/NS/M who likes walks on the beach and quiet time with that special… Oops, sorry, wrong message board… What I meant to say was that I can't tell you how old I am because my drivers license is in my wallet which is just out of arms reach and I stopped counting after the last big birthday (21). In any event It's been a few years since that 21st b-day but I'm pretty sure I'm not 30 yet. Arial crushed my faith in humanity or fish or something like that and I live in somewhat close proximity to WDW. I go often enough to be recognized by some cast members and even a few other guests - next time you are in Epcot, look out for an couple in sweat pants power walking around World Showcase. (That isn't me but look out for them anyway! They'll run you over! Nice people if you ever ketch up to them though… anyway…) I am a commercial artist. People ask me what that means and I tell them I make art that has no soul or spirit to it. It's not as depressing as it sounds. Because of the sinking economy, I haven't had lots to do at work which is why my posts in the group have sort of spiked during the day time. Umm, what else? I have been tested and it has been shown that my personality type can be found in about 5% of the world population which means most people don't understand me and I don't understand them which I think just makes things more interesting. I've been to WDW more times than I can remember. Never been to any of the other Disney parks but I'm planning to go for the 50th anniversary at DL in a few years. Hopefully by that time, DCA will be a happening place and maybe I'll have moved past the crushing depression I feel after having read a certain aquatic-wonder's posts to someone from Boston in this message board tonight. I've been stopping by Steve's little corner of the web for a few years now. I had my heat broken, no, make that torn from my beating chest and stomped to death by Ariel today and I got a little indignant when I first found out I was getting info about WDW from someone who not only isn't in the same state but isn't even on the same continent as the place (I mean really, how could this guy half way around the world know more about what's going on there than I do?) but have since come to my sense and appreciate all the hard work he pours into this site. I plan to stop working in a few weeks and become independently wealthy, moving to one of the double lot homes in Celebration. Currently, when not on this board I spend all my free time at work planning/dreaming of how to make this happen. Today I ruled out finding a way to turn lead into gold and proving cold fusion as a viable power source. I've been practicing the power of psychic persuasion to get people to give me money but all it's gotten me so far is a few peculiar looks from strangers - mostly when I try to explain the process to them. The last day or so, I've been a little stranger than normal. I'm hoping to go back to being the way I used to where I just wrote long boring posts that mostly made sense. Oh, and I'm also no longer the owner of a copy of The Little Mermaid. The copy I had of it has left my possession. Anyone interested in obtaining said copy for free will find it floating in the fish pond in my neighbors back yard. It's a DVD so it should be OK even after sitting in the water and the plastic case bobbed to the surface when I threw it in which should make it easy to retrieve. My neighbor said he understood my pain and would allow it to remain there as long as I thought it needed to be there so long as it didn't hurt the fish or block the intake valve of the pump. Needless to say, I don't think I'm going back for it. Guess that's about it :)

Well, well Silly, nice to meet you. I'm… NO! I’m sorry. I can't. It's just too soon. I'm still grieving. It's not you. It's me. Really it is. You seem like a nice person and all but I have to get through this rough, terribly rough, like sandpaper, no like concrete rough part of my life. Will you wait for me? No! Forget I even said that. I can't believe I even thought it. I'm in such a vulnerable condition right now. I really do apologize...

Well, forget what those other fish say!! I won't listen to them anymore. How do they know it couldn't work between a mermaid and a real man...can you ever forgive me?? Can you find it in your heart to give me a second chance? ;)

You'd probably know if you were. It looms large, my friend... I have two weeks to get all the silliness out of my system...

Don't even say that! Just stay young at heart forever and always be silly...I mean hey, look at Mark, he's over 30 and you'd never know it...;)

Seriously though...I may still have on year to go but I plan on staying 29 forever.... ;)

hey, I felt that way last year, too....but now that we're in the final weeks... yikes. I've exhausted myself trying to do a lot of stuff (including that last minute solo trip to Disney). I tried to tell people my birthday was canceled this year due to lack of interest, but....I can't avoid it. At some point, people are going to expect me to act like a grownup. Especially my students (;) ).

*sigh* T-two weeks and counting...

I guess we all have to act grownup sometimes, but the point is, we don't always have to feel that way...or even act that way sometimes....;)

Well, that's got to be the biggest line of BS I've ever heard. Oh yea, no offense -but I fully believe my first statement. Some of the the funniest, most entertaining people I know are old enough to be my grandparents. Age really isn't all that important (unless you are looking into life insurance). I think its more about what you do with your life than anything else because the only thing that changes with age is experience and if nothing else, that should make you all the more interesting. I gave a little thought to your comments and I know how old I am now because you inspired me to look at my license :). Don't worry about your age. If you don't others won't either. The worst tragedy of turing 30 would be thinking that the fun is over. Don't let it bring you down.

OK, perhaps I have yet to know and love my mid life crisis but many people are living to be 75+ these days which means none of us in places civilized enough to have web access should be at the half way point till nearly 40. So what's your excuse? :)
