Posting this from my iPhone at Pizza Planet.

I know everyone isn't following my Twitter (www.Twitter.com/livewdwupdates) so I'm going to do this mini update.

Looked inside the SM Arcade and noticed a new role of rubber for the moving walkway. It also looked like they replaced some lights outside of SM.

Nothing new to report on the skyway nor stitch stage.

Saw some bright new lights on TTA and several trains at the entrance to SM for the TTA.

At the studios: The backlot tour car out front is gone, and some big colorful house looking building is being added right outside the prop warehouse and after the special effects scene. Also saw them painting some dinoland murals and one that looks like it wad from the snow white ride. Also they are working on the Osborne lights.

Nothing new to report at epcot. Work continues on the flooring and nothing new with the fountain stage. However, the fountain was not shooting water between shows, but the shows were working fine.

Pics and videos can be found on my Twitter.

I was checking out the TTA today and none of these new light fittings that I saw looked like they were LED as reported before. Yes some of the lamps fitter were colored but not using LED technology. On a side note, in Pirates of the Carribean, one of the first scenes with the beach and the dead pirates, the lighting there has now been switched to LED, the same kind (if not very similar) to the ones used outside Spaceship Earh (although not color changing).

I didn't see the color ones, all I saw were normal bright white lights. Not sure if it's just being used while they are working. I will be interested when it opens again.
:sohappy: Sounds great. I wonder what the house is in front of the Backlot. It looks like the house from Up.

I don't think it's the UP house, this one is very colorful and nearly 100% metal. I have no idea what it's from.

That new prop looks ALOT like the "chicken coop house thingy" from the Hannah Montana Movie... I'm almost positive it is.

This backlot gets worse and worse and worse.... :hurl:

Why can't they just rent a bulldozer and expand Pixar Place? :brick:Besides that couldn't they just keep a building that housed props like that as a walkthru as there isn't much to see on the tram tour anyway.

OMG! That is it!!! Thanks! :)
Oddly enough, I liked that movie and I only like season 3 of the show

IMHO I didn't care for the movie, I saw it because alot of it was filmed where I live and have friends that were in the movie.

I was embarrassed to say I recognized the prop from the movie haha!

Hmm, the removal of the tram from the front of the Backlot Tour kinda makes you wonder how much longer for this world that attraction will exist, but if they are adding a new prop to the backlot, maybe a bit longer than we hoped...

I think the tram at the entrance was removed before. It could be for another repainting or to fix the spritzer from the grill...

As for the Chicken Coop house, it reminds me of something from the Key West for some reason....

Saw 3 people walking through liberty square with imagineering badges. They were talking about overhead projection, I'm guessing they were talking about Space Mountain.

They were talking about Bill's new home theatre. 106" Stewart HD Grey screen with JVC front projector-ceiling mounted.
