A few updates on SM and other stuff

On the train you can see some stuff for SM including a bucket lift and some support beams. Also, where the TTA exits SM there is some metal walls up, are they closing it in completely (near SM)?

Also heard saws running at the skyway station and it appears they've removed more from the structure.

Work was continuing on the village haus and in liberty square as well as Main Street.

How long has Harry Potter music been playing on the bus to DHS?

I was checking out the TTA today and none of these new light fittings that I saw looked like they were LED as reported before. Yes some of the lamps fitter were colored but not using LED technology. On a side note, in Pirates of the Carribean, one of the first scenes with the beach and the dead pirates, the lighting there has now been switched to LED, the same kind (if not very similar) to the ones used outside Spaceship Earh (although not color changing).

The Pirates LED lighting has been there for a few years now. I remember them putting it in. Perhaps it was installed during the short rehab last summer....or possibly before done overnight.

How long has Harry Potter music been playing on the bus to DHS?

I guess since the first film premiered back in 1999.

They also play "Harry's Wondrous World" around the exterior of the Great Movie Ride.

I once saw a finale show some time ago. I was shocked at how there were so many people sitting on the ground & watching it.

Pretty impressive in how a jumbotron can attract a following....

David Cook at American Idol Experience

Yes, Tasha and I were INSIDE, when David Cook showed up...I expected one of Disney's video star clips, but then as he walked out onto the stage I rushed to get my camera to video the short interview he did with the host before the show started.
He apparently spent some time with the guest contestants behind the stage, providing them quite a thrill.
We kept our eyes open in case we saw him at the parks later that night/week.
