Ugh! Love it! I, too, remember when a busy day was that sparse. I miss it, actually. I wish we'd known to soak it up in all its glory. The herds of today wear my nerves thin...big part of what makes me not want to go back. **sigh**

Photobucket actually has some very nice tools and it is more user friendly for those of us whose knuckles drag the ground. Someday I would like to master Photoshop...but not today:oops:

I think its more people not being able to afford it... it's a damn expensive program.

If you have a question let me know, using this "brush tool" is incredibly easy.

I just scanned some work from my July disneymoon, all shot on medium format film. Even my negs, which are sleeved in a book, were dusty. Came in handy.

Hrm...is the slide tray limited to 4 slides each as the picture indicated?

I was looking at one of these - http://www.amazon.com/Pacific-Image-PowerSlide-Scanner-5000dpi/dp/B0058ZOS2S

But that's a bit pricy for a one use object (though an important investment, I think). I have my parents slides, and my GPs slides to do, but I loved the fact I could load it with a tray and go away for a bit.

I have one similar to the one he has, but by a different company. It is limited to 4 slides per tray. If his is anything like mine, you don't have to have it connected to a computer to use it. You save the images to a SD card that you can than put in your computer. This means that while you are sitting on your couch watching TV you could also be using this to save the slides.

I actually have Photoshop at the shop but I have a guy in the office who knows it waaaaay better than I do. I keep meaning to take a class....but sadly I have no class:p

I was there August of 1977, I am 1 year younger than you. I keep looking at your pics hoping to see me or my family lol..

hahaha...that is cool! Looking back it was truly the renaissance of Disney. Although some of the cooler attractions were not open yet we still had no idea how iconic all of what we were taking in would become!

It was called the Dutch Inn. It was offsite and from what I can tell is now where the Grosvenor Hotel is.

Yep. That is where the Grosvenor is now. We used to stay at the Dutch Inn all the time. I actually just found a mint looking brochure in my closet from there. Great pics.

I do remember driving past the Dutch Inn. Around that time we stayed at Captain Benbow's or Admiral Benbow's motel. in Kissimmee, not sure which name it was. We arrived at night and in the morning opened the drapes and were looking out at an orange grove. I've searched all my stuff over the years hoping to find a brochure or an address but with no success.
