Yes its money and it's one of the few times them being stingy with money is something I'll defend.$$$$
The entire experience was much better when it opened. Not just the working yeti, which you definitely could see - he was literally lunging toward the train! - but also the fog effects that completely hid the track switches from view.but everyone in my family who got to and many, many, many others who did that i've encountered in person and online have all said that you couldn't really see anything impressive about it and that it looked about the same as it does now because you go by it so quickly.
Thats generous.- but also the fog effects that completely hid the track switches from view.
You forgot the "brown ditch"...If you're like me and were curious what this would look like applied to the rest of the land, enjoy these 20 minutes of Photoshop:

Not my usual professional standard so don't hold it against me. Free to use, etc etc
I'll let you all decide if you like the look of the pavement or not, but I think it works.
they definitely added to the experience.Thats generous.
I miss the fog effects but I think you’re way overselling them.
They definitely added to the experience. Greatly. They just didn’t hide the switches.they definitely added to the experience.
Did you ride during cm previews? Did you ever experience the advertised “snow” effect?
Finally going to fix that Frontierland sewage leak....You forgot the "brown ditch"...
“Helped” hide the switches? Haha. They definitely added to the experience. Greatly. They just didn’t hide the switches.
Same.I rode during soft openings and AP previews.
The theming is in the details of the concrete. It gives off the appearance of walking on earth rather than pavement, or at least it’s meant to evoke that visual. It’s place making. What is supposed to be the point of this? Like, how is haphazardly colored concrete "themed"?
